Secret Polybag J Scott Campbell Variant for X-Men Gold #30

X-Men Gold #30 will have not one, but two J Scott Campbell covers. The one seen to the side is the one that was made public. There is also a secret, white polybagged version that is unlockable to retailers. It is polybagged to “keep it’s contents classified.”

So according to Diamond, comic shops that meet or exceed 100% of their orders for X-Men Gold #28 will be able to order copies of the special polybagged version of X-Men Gold #30.
The solicit for the issue follows:

TIL DEATH DO US Part 6
Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today for the ultimate union!
After a lifetime of will-they-or-won’t-they, new boyfriends and ex-girlfriends, KITTY and COLOSSUS are finally walking down the aisle together…
GUEST STARS GALORE IN THIS VERY SPECIAL MOMENT IN X-MEN HISTORY! Rated T+

Yes, Til Death Do Us Part is a common phrase uttered by couple getting married. But could this title be something more sinister. And could the J Scott Campbell cover give this away?
Also, because of the polybagging, Diamond is saying allocations may occur.

  1. Did i miss the story on this? I didn’t know Mary Jane was going to marry Colossus! ?????

  2. Wow, weddings at the same time in the Marvel and DC universes! Imagine that…

    1. Ha. Go figure right? Marvel seems to do these things all the time when DC does them. Identity Crisis (DC) Identity Disc (Marvel) and the list goes on.

      1. It really is quite ridiculous how they mirror each other. Story lines, events, even the characters themselves. Merge already or try to out-perform your competition, not follow them.

  3. I dislike the marriage story lines for super hero comics. Just seems like a filler story and plot cause they oit of ideas temporarily. I really despise X-Men marriage stories though, seems like its all more often compared to other titles. I’m gonna pass, marriages never seem to hold up after the hype dies on them.

  4. No Jonathan they should not merge. They have been doing this before you where born and we all love comics, so chill.

    1. HA! Jokes one you! Jonathan was born in the 1920’s. He’s super old.

    2. I was simply exaggerating to make a point. If i feel the desire to do it again i will. Feel better now?
Lol not quite born in the 20’s but I am old enough to know the value of respecting others’ opinions, even when they get my fanboy feelings in a bunch.
WOOO! ENJOY FREE COMIC BOOK DAY TOMORROW, EVERYONE!
      AND GO CARDINALS!

      1. Two Campbell covers….one polybagged. They need to do the world a favor and bag both.
