Scout Comics Announce New Name and Corporate Structure

Very few Indie publishers have had the explosive success that Scout Comics has enjoyed in 2018. With breakout hits like STABBITY BUNNY, LONG LOST, and THE MALL, Scout has raised the bar for the standards and expectations of comic book and multimedia industries. With this unprecedented growth, SCOUT COMICS is proud to announce the unveiling of the revolutionary new SCOUT COMICS & ENTERTAINMENT, INC. The new structuring of Scout’s corporate landscape will include Brendan Deneen (CEO) and Tennessee Edwards (CCO), along with new additions James Pruett (COO & Publisher) and James Haick (President).

Scout Comics and Entertainment has strategically established their new corporate headquarters in one of Florida’s most charming and comic friendly cities, Fort Myers.
Scout President James Haick had the following to say about Scout’s future plans: “I’m extremely happy to be part of the new Scout and look forward to continue helping this wonderful company grow along with my partners James Pruett, Brendan Deneen, and Tennessee Edwards. I can’t wait to share some of the plans we have in store for 2019 and beyond. We have some major announcements on both the comic and TV/film fronts that are going to blow people away! Scout is here to help great creators be heard not only in publishing, but also in the media space. We want to help creators be a force in the comics industry by giving them access to publishing, TV/film, gaming, and any needs to make them successful.”
Scout’s CCO Tennessee Edwards said “Brendan and I are excited to have James Haick and long time publisher, now COO, James Pruett on board to help us grow even further. We are growing Scout but keeping its roots as an indie publisher with a focus on quality and how we can help creators grow exposure through media. We are a disruptor of old models that has made impressive strides for a new company that has only been around for a few years. We already have six comics optioned by Hollywood. Our goal is to work directly with studios, agents, producers, buyers, platforms, and creators to make win-win partnerships and great content.”
