Immortal Hulk #12 is in stores tomorrow. It features a new look at Bruce Banner’s childhood, and a new perspective on his abusive father. It gives a reasoning for why he was the way he was.
Plus, it gives us a look at The One Below All, and where he may have come from.
First, a bit of back ground on Bruces dad, and what he did for a living.
He worked hard, too hard sometimes.
Something green it would seem.
And for his hard work, he was rewarded with death, and hell (actually it was more likely his crappy behavior in life, which the issue goes in to full detail about)
A lower hell, One below all others perhaps? A place that is a mirror of our own….
And living there was the thing that looked back in his dreams…. and he is coming
Why are Alex Ross’s covers over looked?
Ha. Good question. Back in the early 90’s they were highly sought after. He was “the” cover artist. His style is perfect. No idea why people don’t chase his work any more. Could be because there is a ton of it out there.
Of course I ordered the B and C covers a while ago and its the A cover thats getting the love. Gotta love this series its a great read thats been putting out some spec hits.
Yes it is.
Shop I stepped into in FL said he was shorted and got no copies. Seemed upset about it. Didn’t even have the variants.
