Lots of great books out this week, but surprising small spec week for me, definitely some great ones though.
The Cheap Flip
True Believers Captain Mar-Vell #1 – This reprint of Marvel Super Heroes #12 should not be passed up. There is room for flip here.
For the 80’s Kids
Wonder Twins #1 I am favoring the Dustin Nguyen cover myself, but I am looking forward to Wonder Twins.
Ratio Variant of the Week
Avengers No Road Home #1 Adam Hughes Variant – 1:50 ratio variant, but no store exclusives that I know about to drive up the print run. This one could be a great hold.
Small Press Gems
God of Bad Men #1– I like Amigo Press a lot, have been quoted on several of their books, This one looks cool and sold out early.
Exciting Comics #1 – Bringing back classic golden age heroes to this Antarctic press line. $1.99 cover could make this one more heavily ordered, but the ratio variants could be where it is at.
The Big Two Pick of the Week
Batman Who Laughs #3 Federici Cover – Damn….. Nothing else to say. Great looking cover. This has been a cool series.
The Small Press Pick of the Week
The Devils #1 – I love small press books, the small print runs and interesting story lines draw me in. They also make great flips. This has it all.
