First up, one thing I have been waiting for, the return of Loki The Necrogod, previously seen months ago. Loki merged with the All-Black Sword. (It is in a vision though)

Is this the 3rd Death of Loki in the last 4 weeks? The young version in Asgardians of the Galaxy#7, the older one two weeks ago in War of Realms #1 and now another in Thor?
Death is a significant event because of it’s Finality and sense of Loss. Marvel’s turned it into at worst, a friend going off to college event. You know they’ll be back for the holidays and special occasions and for good in 4 years or less.
Lazy story telling. It’s not a shock if you do it every week, over and over and over and over and over and over again. I almost wish the government would step in and pass some laws that if you kill them, you can’t use them anymore and in X # years they pass into the public domain for others.
When you cheapen you lessen the impact and possibly desensitize impressionable young minds.
