The one from the recent, “Exiles,” was announced for the upcoming series, I think?
Not Valkyrie but Peggy Carter i think will have the upcoming series. But if Marvel is going to align it with the movie version then the Exiles version makes sense.
I thought their was a comic coming focused on the Exiles Valkiyre?
Jane foster is the new Valkyrie because why not I guess…
Nothing like a good decapitation.
Interesting, I’m happy I picked up the 1:25 Hugo Valkyrie cover for this one
“Well, expect an all new Valkyrie, probably more in line with the movie version”
This series has already overplayed the Fake Death card. They appeared to kill Odin in issue #1 and he’s already back in issue #2. I’m expecting a ditto here for Valk also since she’s two different people occupying the same body in Asgardians of the Galaxy. Follow reading this one up with Uncanny X-Men 16’s multiple deaths or apparent deaths and I’m getting the feeling Marvels overplaying the death card again aka lazy story telling. That and cancelling my West Coast Avengers at #10 has left a bad taste in my mouth for Marvel this week so far.
In addition, the laziness and unoriginality is even worse when you consider they just killed off the whole Valkyrie army but one in the very last Thor movie. You just did this!!!!
Just when you thought you could get to the end of a Marvel book without another death, Tony Stark might be dead at the end of #10. Can we get some odds on this? Dead dead, kinda dead, maybe dead, dead but not forgotten, looking forward to #11? How will they write their way out of this one?
This was a complete surprise. Guardians of the Galaxy #4 this week ends with Starlord apparently dead on the last page. Is this the 4th or 5th Marvel book this week and I haven’t finished this weeks new arrivals from marvel yet.
So there is a new Valkyrie series coming out. Jane Foster Valkyrie. Also, yes. Starlord
