Thoughts on if it will have ties to the DSS in Thanos?
That’s the rumor that’s out there. I think he’s called the Fallen One.
I know that knull is part of it. With him involved it could be symbiote related.
I’ve bought most of the shattered variants since started. Not feeling this one though
I’d love to order a copy but with 29$ shipping it’s just to much for me.
USPS and Canada Post prices have gone bonkers.
I have cut my eBay purchases by 80% unfortunately.
It sucks, but what can you do.
Need to find an American friend right across the border that you can have shipped to their address and you go pick them up or have him bring to you. 🙂
Considering this but the Immortal Hulk #16 shattered variant is still available for $19.99 so leaning against it.
IH #16 saw almost a 40k bump in print run compared to issue #15. This was likely due to retailers chasing the 1:25 variant so now they get to sit on all those copies that might take weeks, months or years to sell.
Consistent demand kept IH around the 50-55k print run range, likely for those reading and collecting. That huge increase just goes to show an issue with publishers not only marketing to consumers beyond the retailers but also sucking in retailers to buy books they likely can’t sell. Impulse buying by retailers is part of the problem of the industry I think.
But I think the Shattered Variants are cool, they certainly aren’t as hot as when they were first introduced.
shatterd variants are best when they are cover that’s truly iconic. ASM 129, Hulk 181, ASM 300….all “shattered worthy.”
Although the Silver Surfer One Shot is a popular cover, I think there are other covers I think would be better choices for this variant…like Fantastic Four 50.
So it’s nice, but not exciting me like others have said.
