Since Covrprice.com came on the scene, they have become a go to spot for watching eBaytrends on comics. They scour thousands of eBay sales to cultivate data to spotlight the hottest selling comics. Here is this week’s Top Ten Comics: (Please note, potential spoilers do follow)

1. Captain Marvel #8 Carnage/Blood Logo– Sold 125 copies, had a 7-day trend of +344%, and had a high weekly sale of $41 raw.
Why? New character Star appears. This is the Carnage logo secret variant
2. Captain Marvel #8 Lee Carnage Variant – Sold 161 copies, had a 7-day trend of 164, and had a high sale of $140 for a 9.8
Why? New character Star appears. Carnage-ized cover.
3. What If #10– Sold 143 copies, had a 7-day trend of +208%, had a high sale of $425 graded.
Why? Jane Foster as Thor.
4. Captain Marvel #8 – Sold 129 copies, had a 7-day trend of +104%, had a high sale of $63.
Why? New character Star appears.
5. Spawn #299 SDCC Variant– Sold 46 copies, had a 7-day trend of +282% , had a high sale of $350 .
Why? Hot and very limited SDCC con variant.
6. The Eternals #1 – Sold 96 copies, had a 7-day trend of +106% , had a high sale of $1600 Graded .
Why? News of the Movie coming at SDCC helped drive sales.
7. Silver Surfer Black #2 Martin Variant– Sold 96 copies, had a 7-day trend of +99% , had a high sale of $175 Graded .
Why? The variants on this series have been popping. Cool cover.
8. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #95 – Sold 69 copies, had a 7-day trend of +129% , had a high sale of $45 raw.
Why? New female Turtle.
9. Captain Marvel #8 Izaakse Variant – Sold 53 copies, had a 7-day trend of +156% , had a high sale of $200 raw.
Why? New character Star appears. Ratio of 1:25 was hard to find.
10. Marvel Comics Presents #6– Sold 61 copies, had a 7-day trend of +91% , had a high sale of $76 raw.
Why? Wolverine’s daughter Reign appears.

LOL. Yeah, no doubt! I’m off to EBay to get one myself!
The correct high sale was $425. But staying up until 2 am to get stuff like this post done sometimes causes me to miss something.
It’s a typo. The raw sale average is $139. But we all make mistakes.
I think it would be more helpful to report Average Price, instead of (or in addition to) High Price. Those High Prices can often be outliers.
Average prices are on there as well.
Marvel hits 80% for the week ..
I’m kinda curious to see if anyone actually has their copy(s) of the store, virgin, variant of Captain Marvel #8. I know that I am still waiting for mine. I was told, about a week ago, that there were printing issues. There aren’t a lot of copies in-hand online, either, it seems.
