Greetings my Comics Heating Up family. Hope your week is going well. I am working hard on a secret retail project. Finally going after this with many delays and hold ups. Damn health. Thanks for the support, advice and love. Thanks for listening to my podcast. The new South Park episodes are amazing, as is Riverdale, Batwoman, and especially, Titans season two. Superman/Batman #3 was amazing. Batman Who Laughs is villain of the year. Now lets make some money with some comics cause you can’t teach that
1. Brave and the Bold #189 – another bronze age cover with Batman in bondage. Thorn and Rose who are in Bendis’s Superman run, join him. Jim Aparo art on the cover. Just a sweet cover. People got bent out of shape about the last one on the list so I added another one. Remember, we are talking about fictional characters. #testify $10
2. Marvel Age #7 – this is a sweet real first. This predates Marvel Tales #1 & Peter Porker Spiderham #1 and has a sweet preview of the Spiderham? Spiderham will be in another movie and a new animated series. His #18 issue run is tough, especially #12. The border issue has a run in Marvel Tales starting with #201 and is just a cool part of the Spiderverse. This is a cheap find and is a must for Spiderham fans. $5-15
3. Batwoman #17 (New 52) – Batwoman on the CW. is #awesomesauce. Loving the show, which has been a slow burn. Rachel Skarsten is killing it as Beth Kane. This is the infamous engagement issue between Magic Sawyer and Kate Kane. It also returns Alice to the new 52 and is a classic run. I wish DC allowed this story to play out without being haters. I am loving Alice who needs a Funko pop and cosplay love. $5-15
4. Marvel Team Up #135 Mark Jewelers variant – I really like this issue. First of all it is the first team up and meeting between Spiderman and my favorite X-woman Kitty Pryde. I think Marvel will have big plans for Kitty Pryde loving the new book but I am surprised of how many Mark Jewelers variants there are. The army base jewelry company had ads in comics and I am shocked of how many key books had the Mark Jewelers ad in them but this will not break the bank. It is a great and fun read from a great run. $5-10
