Pretty small spec week. Some good indy books, especially from Source Point Press.
DC Must Haves
Batman Beyond #38 – Chances are we won’t get the answers to who Batwoman is yet, but I am sure clues will be dropped.
Marvel Must Haves
Avengers #27 – Jason Aaron looping in some Donny Cates in this issue, wait until the spoilers and you will see what I mean.
Venom #20 – A regular pick up. The drama with Dylan will continue for the time being. But decent spoilers coming out of this one.
New #1’s
Misplaced #1 – New Source Point Press book. These have been both great spec and good quick flips.
Reprint of the Week
Uncanny X-Men #266 Facsimile Edition – First appearance of Gambit gets the facsimile treatment, reprinting the original book ads and all.
Small Press Pick of the Week
Touching Evil #1 – Of the Source Point releases coming out this week, this one is the best bet. An attorney is given a curse from a mysterious prisoner that allows her to kill anyone instantly with just a touch of her hand… but only if they’re evil. Her whole life is turned upside down in an instant as she is forced to question what evil is, who she can trust, and her own sanity. Get ready to meet a hero unlike anyone you’ve ever seen, and forgive her if she doesn’t shake hands.
Pick of the Week
Killadelphia #1 – Really great story with great art. The “Black Friday” variant could be big.
CHU has mentioned Touching Evil before so i ordered a copy. Interested to read it.
