#11 PREDATOR #1 (DARK HORSE, 1989) There are rumors that Disney is rebooting several of Fox’s largest IP, including PREDATOR whose first appearance (per CGC) in comics is in this issue. Man, what an awesome cover. This has been increasing in price for the past two years. However, this rumor appears to be that extra push, It sold 23 copies, had a 7-day trend of 103% and had an all-time new high sale of $450 for a CGC 9.8.
#12 BATMAN #92 ARTGERM VARIANT (DC, 2020) This first full appearance of PUNCHLINE was well prepared for as retailers placed large orders to keep up with the expected demand for this issue. While it doesn’t sell for much raw, it’s still a fantastic cover and a key issue. It also sold 18 copies, had a 7-day trend of 140% and had a high sale of $50 for a CGC 9.8.
#13 VENOM #25 (MARVEL, 2020) The first appearance of VIRUS in this issue sold 19 copies, had a 7-day trend of 127% and had a high sale of $21.97 for a raw copy.
#14 THOR #5 YOON ZOMBIE VARIANT (MARVEL, 2020) The first full appearance of THE BLACK WINTER in this issue is the key driver for this book’s sales. It sold 15 copies, had a 7-day trend of 160% and had a high sale of $25 for a raw copy.
#15 ULTIMATE FALLOUT #4 PICHELLI 2ND PRINT (MARVEL, 2011) This 2nd print really took off. It was only a couple of months ago when you couldn’t move a 9.8 of this over $100. This week, it sold 27 copies, had a 7-day trend of 84% and had a high sale of $369.99 for a CGC 9.8.
#16 SPAWN #9 (IMAGE, 1993) Rumors are ANGELA, who first appeared in this issue, will appear in the next GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY film in the MCU (it’s a long story about how the rights went from McFarlane to Marvel). It sold 24 copies, had a 7-day trend of 94% and had a high sale of $85 for a CGC 9.8.
#17 WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #101 (MARVEL, 1993) This is really when Maximum Carnage picked up and became a fan favorite storyline with this Part 2 issue. It sold 14 copies, had a 7-day trend of 160% and had a high sale of $16.50 for a raw copy.
#18 DARK HORSE PRESENTS #36 (DARK HORSE, 1990) The rumors of Disney revamping ALIENS and PREDATOR caused both books to spike in price. The story featuring Aliens Vs. Predator was in this issue. It sold 14 copies, had a 7-day trend of 158% and had a high sale of $35 for a CGC 9.2
#19 VENOM #3 3RD PRINT (MARVEL, 2018) This was considered the most valuable cover for the first appearance of Knull. However, it looks like the Molina variant has caught up. This 3rd print sold 14 copies, had a 7-day trend of 151% and had a high sale of $374.99 for a CGC 9.8.
#20 ULTIMATE FALLOUT #4 2ND PRINT (MARVEL, 2011) Miles dominates the aftermarket right now. Of course, he’ll be all over this top 20 list. His 2nd print sold 25 copies, had a 7-day trend of 77% and had a high sale of $311.06 for a CGC 9.8.
