Greetings my Comics Heating Up family. Wow, it is now fall. Before we know it, it will be the holidays. Stay safe and now lets make the money with some comics cause you can’t teach that .
1. Champions #22 2nd Print – this one was kind of quiet but there is a lot to love. Riri gets the Iron Heart suit. Cho becomes Brawn. This hard to find second print has become a $40 book. check those back issue ins and happy hunting.
2. Transformers the Movie #1 – I am talking the real McCoy. The animated 1986 movie not the Michael Bay POS from 2007 and beyond #testify. This is the first Galvatron in comics. galvatron is awesomesauce and this book is a undervalued key $10-20
3. Wizard Magazine #17 Silver Variant – both versions of this issue are worth the pick up. Credit for this goes to Topher S. This either ties with Comics Scene #31 for first published image of Harley Quinn or is the second ever published image of Harley Quinn. Both appearances pre-date Batman Adventures #12. I am researching something for a customer and it lead me down this rabbit hole. I love true firsts and preview books so this is a must have, plus Harley Quinn equals money $20
4. The Man Called Nova #25 – Nova is on fire. Will Richard Rider ever make it to the screen? This is the final issue of the original bronze age series. This is low printed tough in high grade and is a tough find in the wild, but Nova is hot and will one day be on the screen #testify $10-20
5. Avengers #221 – so Disney casted it’s She Hulk. dear mickey mouse we already had a great live action She Hulk. Great, the show will be amazing, this is the issue where Jennifer Walters becomes an Avenger and can be found in bargain boxes for a few bucks, but for how long? $4 and up
6. He-Man vs the Thundercats #1 – this is just a blast. Yes it sells well. Will it spike, maybe, Kevin Smith the goat, the greatest film maker, the greatest comic book maker of all time is playing with He-Man right now. Netflix baby, maybe one day we will get a new and good Thundercats cartoon and it is on Hulu as we speak. Larry Kenney does the convention scene and is a super nice guy. I love the coloring book variant and the villains variant, plus, there is a convention foil variant and they all command money so happy hunting
