  1. Grabbed Star Wars Adventures Annual #1 RI and ASM #53 1:10 Tsang for $50 from my LCS. Not many SWAA’s on eBay (2 of them). Stoked. Yesterday I grabbed 9.8 copies of Department of Truth 1:50 variants for $34 for BOTH. Rad. Happy hunting.

    1. I picked up the super rare Department of Truth #1 Third Eye Variant (which is an error cover) and had a print run of 250 copies. Sells for great money on eBay. Got them for $19 each.

  2. I like that SWAA 2020 1:10 cover. Had a shot at it for $13…kinda kicking myself a little. Oh well.

  3. Nice to see comments this week, last few weeks were pretty light…

    Pick ups this week:
    Strange Academy #1 5th print
    SIKTC #12 (cover A)
    Die!Die!Die! #13

    Spec pick ups this week:
Star Wars Adventures Shadows of Vader’s Castle (1:10 variant) cover price
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 Archie 1988 (Fine condition) $14
Rise of Black Panther #2 (Movie variant cover) $7

    PC pick up this week:
    Darth Vader #1 (2020, 1:25 variant) $12

    Good hunting everyone!

    1. Comments have been light since so many are commenting over on the forum. We will be merging the comments with the forum soon. Will be a lot more lively.

  4. I had an exciting find last week…scored a SIKTC #11 Dept of Slaughter 1:100 variant for cover price. When I first saw it on the rack, I kept thinking it must be some kind of mistake. But it turned out to be very real!
I found a couple of Savage Dragon #253’s for cover too.

This week, some of the books I am scouting include Sea of Sorrows #1 1:25, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night 1:5, and We Live #2 1:10, plus some Vader #6 2nd prints. Overall, it looks like a hefty week.

      1. I’ve waiting on online shops to ship me copies…I’ve hit a string Of bad luck it’s online orders lately. Just unresponsive.

    1. It’s amazing how store owners have no idea sometimes as to what they have. A 1:100 for cover? That’s killer. I also found 4 copies of Captain Marvel #23, 2 of each cover, still sitting there. Ok, I’ll take them!

  5. So my wife went to a different LCS (one that speculates on release day) she put in a pull with them. She called yesterday to make sure the books she ordered where going to available. They told her that they forgot to order A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night both covers that she ordered way back before FOC. She thinks that they might have kept her copies to sell at a higher rate. She is going today to see what’s up. Kinda sucks cuz I asked her if she wanted me to order them for her at our LCS but she wanted to try something new.

  6. Heads up for those folks interested in the one-per-store variants. There is one for Fantastic Four #26 this week. It is a “Stormbreakers R.B. Silva” variant featuring Sue Storm on the cover. It was a surprise find at my LCS.

  7. light on books this week.will share the picture later.just scored some original art.the cover to amazing Spiderman #160 uris a stat editors proff and it is #awesomesauce. I also snagged a savage dragon #253 for $8&a betty&me #194 newsstand for $3.about to pick up a book witch will not be mentioned until I buy it .about to pump and dump #testify. love you guys hope your staying safe and being well.love you all blind adam out

  8. Picked up a Critters 7 for $2. Early Sam Kieth work. Either 2nd appearance of an Isz from Maxx or 1st full appearance depending on how you look at it. Anything Goes 2 came out one month earlier and has an Isz appearance in one full panel.

  9. So yesterday, I went to a different LCS with my youngest. (Only 3 people allowed inside at a time since its a small shop which is good due to our area being back in purple tear). I found my wife her book (see comment above) and it was cool seeing my youngest go through the Miles Morales books and picking the books he wanted. He got issue #12 and he got Star Wars Adventures Annual. Just seeing him turn the pages on the books, was cool. Usually I’m the one bringing the books to him.

Just thought I shaded this cool little moment lol.

          1. Yes…it’s the cover…had a few opportunities to buy online for under $20…oh well. It’s cool, but don’t see why people are paying $75 for it…would rather have a nice copy of Star Wars 81 and it’s painted cover.

            1. SWAA #1 1:10 is/will be a ghost. Once the few copies are sold on eBay and go into PC’s, they won’t be leaving them. The Mandalorian turned me and everyone watching into a fan of IG-88. The story is really fun too (yes I read it) 🙂

The print run info I could find for the last SWAA was for 9,700. STA averages under 9,000 copies a month. I just don’t think most stores ordered 10 or more copies. So there’s probably between 800-1000 copies. People want rare books.
