Make sure to head over to CovrPrice.com for you comic Price Guides, Collection Management, and a lot more!

#1 DARKHAWK #1 (MARVEL, 1991) Geekosity’s Mikey Sutton reported that DARKHAWK is in development for a Disney + series. This remains unconfirmed. However, it lit a massive fire under Darkhawk copies and even landed in the #1 spot on our Top 10 this week with 97 copies sold! Keep in mind that this is still a rumor and to buy cautiously, It sold 97 copies (which is absolutely amazing), had a 7-day trend of 185% and had a high sale of $310 for a CGC 9.8.

#2 THE NEW TEEN TITANS ANNUAL #2 (DC, 1983) As we already mentioned, this is the first appearance of Vigilante in costume (and cover). If you’re like us, you’ve seen this book a million times in $1 bins… and passed it over every single time. It sold 66 copies, had a 7-day trend of 241% and had a high sale of $182 for a CGC 9.8.

#3 TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: THE LAST RONIN #1 (IDW, 2020) The Last Ronin is crazy hot. With such a fun take on the franchise, it’s easy to see why. It sold a massive amount of copies JUST for this standard cover at 111 copies with a 7-day trend of 105% and a high sale of $119.99 for a CGC 9.8.

#4 STAR WARS DARTH VADER #7 (MARVEL, 2020) First appearances in Star Wars are a thing these days. So, with a full first appearance of the SITH OCHI this new release increased in price a bit. It sold 33 copies, had a 7-day trend of 182% and had a high sale of $14.95 for a NM raw copy (though most are selling for $7).

#5 THE NEW TEEN TITANS #23 (D.C., 1982) Deadline is reporting that the HBO Max series ‘Peacemaker’ has cast: Robert Patrick, Jennifer Holland & Chris Conrad. Chris Conrad is expected to play the role of DC’s VIGILANTE. While the Vigilante’s first appearance in costume is in NEW TEEN TITANS ANNUAL #2, his first appearance as Adrian Chase is in NEW TEEN TITANS #23. It sold 27 copies, had a 7-day trend of 207% and had a high sale of $219.99 for a CGC 9.8.

#6 SAVAGE DRAGON #253 BIDEN HARRIS COVER (IMAGE, 2020) Yeah, collectors even spec on political books. After it was announced that Biden/Harris “won” the presidential election, this book immediately began selling. If you recall, Savage Dragon also promoted Barack Obama in Savage Dragon #137 variant, which is STILL pretty expensive ($170 to 200 raw). So, who knows… maybe this one will continue to go up. It sold 47 copies, had a 7-day trend of 104% and had a high sale of $35 for a raw copy (though most are selling for $15 to $20 currently).

#7 THE MARKED #9 HABERLIN VIRGIN (IMAGE, 2020) This cover is absolutely gorgeous and collectors were ALL over it. However, it came under fire when the reference photo used by Haberlin was shared online… and without proper credit, folks called fowl. His version of the art was almost exact. Artists using reference photos are a very common thing. However, this side-by-side comparison detracted from the initial awe and slowed sales. It sold 12 copies, had a 7-day trend of 371% and had a high sale of $25 for a raw copy.

#8 CAPTAIN MARVEL #23 (MARVEL, 2020) Another holdover from last week, this issue contains the first appearance of Namor’s son, Ove and Thor’s daughter, Brigid. New characters mean long-term potential. Hence, it sold 51 copies, had a 7-day trend of 82% and had a high sale of $19.99 for a raw copy.

#9 SPAWN #9 (IMAGE, 1993) There’s been a recent boost in sales and price for this first appearance of Angela (and the newsstand especially). After a contentious lawsuit over the rights of the character, creator Neil Gaiman won and took her to Marvel where she was introduced as Thor’s sister in Age of Ultron #10. There are faint rumors about her possibly showing up in THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER or GUARDIANS #3. That could be a reason for the sudden uptick. Both Spawn #9 and Age of Ultron #10 are solid books to buy into. Spawn #9 sold 30 copies, had a 7-day trend of 140% and had a high sale of $99.10 for a CGC 9.8.

#10 MOON KNIGHT #1 (Marvel) A repeat Top Ten’er, this first Moon Knight series sold 37 copies, had a 7-day trend of 103% and had a high sale of $499.99 for a CGC 9.8.

    1. Covrprice approached Anthony long ago to publish their top lists here on CHU. Some don’t subscribe to Covrprice so it’s just another way to get information passed along. Why is that lame? Do you have any better suggestions or ideas?

    2. Yeah, confused why it is lame. They worked out something with me a while ago to post them. Why is that lame? Not everyone subscribes to their news letter. This gives everyone the opportunity to read it.

  1. Dang. Why do folks have to be so nasty? Free info, no obligations…Thank you, Anthony and gang, for your time and opinions and all that you do for the hobby. I use your information, make my plans, and spend my money the way I want to. It’s a hobby, not a biz for me. Peace to all, and Happy Thanksgiving! And let’s be kinder to one another. It’s good for your heart.

  2. Looks like one of the writers for Bleeding Stool made a fake account to troll CHU….You know it’s true!!!!

  3. Not lame! I appreciate this info, I’ve dusted off some old book not knowing they were heating up based on these articles. Keep em coming!
