Final Order Cut-off Highlights for 1/25/21

Final Order Cut-Off is the last day that shops can guarantee their orders for comics. After Final Order Cut-Off, or FOC, these books will only be available to retailers on Advance Reorder. And that is not guaranteed. So here are the highlights for Monday, 1/25/21’s FOC list.

BATMAN WHITE KNIGHT PRESENTS HARLEY QUINN #5 – Harley gets a new suit designed by Bruce Wayne.

FUTURE STATE GREEN LANTERN #1 2ND PRINT – using the format of the 1:25 design covers, since DC didn’t do them for future state, was a great way to do reprints with new art.

FUTURE STATE JUSTICE LEAGUE #1 2ND PRINT – Same as above but featuring the new Flash.

HAHA #2 – Issue #1 was a Wednesday Winner. Second issues tend to see a drop off in print runs, unsure if this one will but #1 was pretty heavily ordered considering how many store variants there were for it and still did well.

HOLLOW HEART #1 – Vault puts out some very good comics. Fun reads. EL used to be human. Now he’s a jumble of organs in a bio-suit. EL is also in tremendous pain and has been for a very long time. Hope arrives in the form of Mateo- a mechanice brought in to work on EL’s suit. Mateo sees EL in a way no one ever has. And what’s more: Mateo offers EL an escape. The B Cover is a sweet retro Rom homage.

SAVAGE #1 – Valiant’s Savage returns to print. From the mad minds of international superstar Max Bemis and powerhouse artist Nathan Stockman comes the craziest action book of 2021. Teenage heartthrob. Feral social icon. Dinosaur hunter? Born and raised on an uncharted island full of prehistoric dangers- Kevin Sauvage has a taste of home when a mutant dino threat invades England!

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #57 2ND PRINT – Mystery cover. So many great interior art panels this can draw from.

BLACK KNIGHT #1 FACSIMILE EDITION – Black Knight will be getting some love in the King in Black series as well as in the MCU coming up. This reprints the classic character’s first appearance, ads and all.

BLACK WIDOW #5 – Remember when Adam Hughes used to do ridiculously good covers that would blend the title into the art. Well, here is one of them.

KING IN BLACK GWENOM VS CARNAGE #1 2ND PTG VAR – This one dropped with a quick FOC date. The cover is stunning.

KING IN BLACK PLANET OF SYMBIOTES #2 – American Kaiju returns to fight Knull’s dragon hoards.

X-MEN LEGENDS #1 – Classic era X-Men stories return to the stands. If you were an X-Men fan in the 90’s you will want this one. Patrick Gleason has a Stormbreaker Variant that is pretty good.
