Brzrkr #1 1:1000 Get CGC Grading Opportunity

CGC, Certified Guaranty Company, is proud to announce they have joined forces with BOOM! Studios to provide a Signature Series signing event exclusively for the BRZRKR #1 1:1000 ratio incentive variant.

Each BRZRKR #1 1:1000 ratio incentive variant will be signed by Keanu Reeves, creator and co-writer of BRZRKR, and feature cover artwork by Jonboy Meyers.

Keanu Reeves will not be signing any additional items at this exclusive signing event, and the only way to receive a signed copy of BRZRKR #1 during this event is to order the BRZRKR #1 1:1000 ratio incentive variant.

Interested Comic Shop Retailers will be able to place orders for the exclusive BRZRKR #1 1:1000 ratio incentive variant until Final Order Cutoff on Monday, February 1, 2021 11:59 PM PT. Only retailers whose orders qualify them to order the 1:1000 ratio incentive variant will be able to participate in the CGC signing event.

As they may not participate in the event directly, fans will need to contact their local comic shop retailer and make arrangements to obtain a copy through their preferred retailer. After orders are finalized and audited, BOOM! Studios will contact each retailer to confirm if they would like to have their copy of the 1:1000 ratio incentive variant ship to them ungraded or graded by CGC.

Comic Shop Retailers who confirm their interest in having their copy, or copies, graded will then be contacted by the exclusive facilitator, who will coordinate each retailers’ specific ordering needs, including speed of shipping, preferred courier, and expenses related to ordering copies.

BOOM! Studios will not be offering either ungraded copies of the BRZRKR #1 1:1000 ratio incentive variant nor CGC graded copies of BRZRKR #1 1:1000 ratio incentive variant on its webstore or directly for sale to consumers.

Unsigned copies of BRZRKR #1 will be available in comic book stores and other in-store or online retail locations on February 24, 2021.

BRZRKR: The man known only as B. is half-mortal and half-god, cursed and compelled to violence…even at the sacrifice of his sanity. But after wandering the world for centuries, B. may have finally found a refuge – working for the U.S. government to fight the battles too violent and too dangerous for anyone else. In exchange, B. will be granted the one thing he desires – the truth about his endless blood-soaked existence…and how to end it.

BRZRKR #1 features main cover art by superstar illustrator Rafael Grampá (Dark Knight Returns: The Golden Child) and variant cover art by artists Mark Brooks (House of X/Powers of X), Lee Bermejo (Batman), and Dan Mora (Future State: Dark Detective), as well as the 1-in-1000 signed edition variant cover with art by Jonboy Meyers, and more.

  1. It seems like hardly any retailers want to mess with this ratio book. Its going to be an absolute ghost.

    1. Yeah, I mean the book itself will cost retailers close to $2K to even get one copy, so mostly it will only be the bigger shops

  2. I have no interest whatsoever in things like this. Manufactured hype over nothing special IMO. Who needs a 1:1000 ratio comic? Just silly…even more so on an unproven/new title. Yawn.

    1. The LE on the store variants is under 1000 for neary all of them. And what is that? 30+ copies?

  3. Would you rather have this or a low grade #181. Duh. Or anything $2000 and established vs. this who knows what. I like Jonboy a lot. I like Keanu Reeves. I would maybe pay $500 for this. Maybe.

  4. Making people waste $2000 on manufactured garbage? I’m sure if Keanu found out, he would John Wick the retailers.

    1. I dont think he very much cares. If someone told him people were buying a thousand of his books to get a sig, he’d be ecstatic. I know i’d be

  5. There is one listed on ebay right now for $2500 obo…..plus $4.50 shipping, cause you gotta have that $4.50 for shipping….

    1. Lol. $4.50 is insulting for shipping on a $2500 book. I saw a retailer selling the 1:100 and all the regular and ratio covers for the same price. That shop throws in free shipping on orders over $100. Seems like a bargain compared to Mr. $4.99 shipping.
