#11 SWEET TOOTH #1 | DC | 2009 This series is finally available on Netflix and is receiving very favorable reviews. We’re watching it and loving it. While it’s unknown how or if the adventures of SWEET TOOTH will continue, his first issue is still seeing strong market attention and should for a while. It sold 23 copies, had a 7-day trend of 119% and had a high sale of $945 for a CGC 9.8.
#12 AMERICA #1 | MARVEL | 2017 Much like Kate Bishop and interest in her first solo series, the same interest is applied to America’s first solo series. Anticipation in DR. STRANGE 2 is causing her key issues to spike in price. This first issue sold 17 copies, had a 7-day trend of 195% and had a high raw sale of $40.
#13 THE ETERNALS #1 | MARVEL | 1976 The first appearance of THE ETERNALS is trending again (not that it really ever stopped) due to a fantastic full (and long awaited) trailer hit. This helped continue to move 36 copies, had a 7-day trend of 85% and had a high sale of $885 for a CGC 9.6.
#14 X-MEN #53 | MARVEL | 1996 This issue features the first full appearance of ONSLAUGHT. His reappearance at the end of X-MEN: WAY OF X #2 has stirred up interest in his first appearance. It sold 23 copies, had a 7-day trend of 134% and had a high raw sale of $50.
#15 INFAMOUS IRON MAN #1 | MARVEL | 2016 This issue features the 1st appearances of Victor von Doom as Iron Man and the Tony Stark A.I (third version). This book is now trending due to strong speculation that Robert Downey Jr. will be the A.I. for Riri Williams. It sold 24 copies, had a 7-day trend of 117% and had a high sale of $250 for a CGC 9.8.
#16 SOMETHING IS KILLING THE CHILDREN #16 WERTHER DELL EDERA ONE-PER-STORE VIRGIN VARIANT | BOOM | 2021 With MANY covers for issue #16, it’s rumored that this issue may have hit an overall print run of over 100K. While we’ll have to wait for those numbers, collectors are focusing on the hardest to find covers and landed on this on-per-store. It sold 20 copies, had a 7-day trend of 136% and had a high raw sale of $150.
#17 SUPERMAN 10-CENT ADVENTURE #1 | DC | 2003 This issue is the first appearance of Supergirl (Cir-El), who will be appearing on CW’s THE FLASH, played by actress Sasha Calle. It sold 11 copies, had a 7-day trend of 237% and had a high raw sale of $24.50.
#18 WYTCHES #1 | DC | 2014 In a recent Comic Book Resources interview, Scott Synder gave an update on Wytches and Undiscovered Country content adaptations: “With Undiscovered Country, we’re working on the screenplay right now for New Republic,” he said. “We have about another four weeks before we hand in the draft so it’s commenced and it’s all good. And Wytches is definitely still in development too.” This news continues to move 19 copies, had a 7-day trend of 135% and had a high sale of $58 for a CGC 9.6.
#19 CAPTAIN AMERICA #16 | MARVEL | 2006 This issue marks the 1st appearance of Red Skull’s daughter, Synthea Schmidt, as SIN (previously appearing as Mother Superior). This is trending due to speculation that she could appear as the main villain in CAPTAIN AMERICA 4. It sold 15 copies, had a 7-day trend of 170% and had a high raw sale of $70.
#20 SOMETHING IS KILLING THE CHILDREN #16 JENNY FRISON COLOR VARIANT | BOOM! STUDIOS | 2021 As noted above, with so many covers for the issue… only a few rise to the top. While this is probably the least expensive, collectors want this Frison as it pairs perfectly with Frison’s cover for the first issue. It sold 27 copies, had a 7-day trend of 88% and had a high sale of $50 for a CGC 9.8.
isn’t captain america vol 1 #290, first SIN?
She is Mother Superior in 290 I believe. 16 is her first as Syn. I think it’s splitting hairs but people are gonna buy what they are gonna buy (or told to on YouTube)
