The fact that it’s down by Lucio Parrillo is just icing. It sold 33 copies, had a 7-day trend of 402% and had a high sale of $35.98 for a raw copy.

Nick Spencer’s ASM run touches upon elements of this controversial storyline which revealed that Gwen Stacy and Norman Osborn had a relationship and produced two children: Gabriel and Sarah Stacy. It sold 39 copies, had a 7-day trend of 161% and had a high sale of $15 for a raw copy.

As noted, Deadline is reporting that “Oscar nominee Jake Gyllenhaal is set to produce and star in Oblivion Song, a film based on the acclaimed series of graphic novels by Robert Kirkman and Lorenzo De Felici.” Due to this, Oblivion Song continues to stay hot (despite falling off the Top 10) with 40 copies sold, had a 7-day trend of 94% and had a high sale of $202.50 for a CGC 9.8.

Omega Red and Mephisto are the characters that keep resurfacing with appearance rumors. So much so that both are running jokes. After not appearing in THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER nor WANDAVISION, collectors are STILL buying into this book. Omega’s first appearance is once again trending (with not set rumors this time) with 22 copies sold, a 7-day trend of 144% and had a high sale of $300 for a CGC 9.8.

As noted, there are loose rumors/speculation that a Danny Ketch led Midnight Sons is in development for Disney+. This issue features the first cameo appearance of The Midnight Sons (via a future premonition) and sold 31 copies, had a 7-day trend of 102% and had a high sale of $265 for a CGC 9.8.

Recently, it was announced by The Hollywood Reporter that “Brian Tucker, who penned the 2013 Russell Crowe and Mark Wahlberg crime thriller Broken City, has been hired to write the script for the feature (Spawn) project”. It was also noted that McFarlane will direct the film as well. Not that this book needed any more of a boost, but it did just that. It sold 27 copies, had a 7-day trend of 96% and had a high sale of $239.13 for a CGC 9.8.

Variety is reporting that “Marvel Studios is searching for a Latino actor to lead an untitled Halloween special for Disney Plus, Variety has confirmed.” Even they note that “The special could be based on “Werewolf by Night,” and could feature Jake Gomez, who “was introduced into the Marvel universe last year in the comic “Werewolf by Night (Vol. 3) #1.” Created by Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas, Scot Eaton and Benjamin Jackendoff, Gomez is described to be a descendant of the Native American tribe Hopi who has been cursed with lycanthropy, also through his lineage.” See, even Variety is getting into the spec game. This news lit a fire under Jake’s first appearance in this issue, moving 27 copies with a 7-day trend of 92% and a high sale of $300 for a CGC 9.8.

Add this to the “someone knows something list” as a surge of copies sold last week, featuring the first issue of Spectacular Spider-Mand and the origin of the Tarantula. We’re not sure why it’s moving suddenly, but it sold 14 copies, had a 7-day trend of 171% and had a high sale of $499 for a CGC 9.8.

This 1:25 is moving simply because of its great cover, featuring DARKSEID. It sold 25 copies, had a 7-day trend of 92% and had a high sale of $55.41 for a raw copy.

This LONG undervalued first issue to Wolverine’s first ongoing series has been picking up steam over the past year. 9.8’s have had significant boosts in price. This week, raws are now making big jumps as well. This issue sold 26 copies, had a 7-day trend of 133% and had a high sale of $210 for a NM raw copy.
