          1. I wouldn’t say reversed. And to be honest I am not sure Peter fully understands what happened. But we the readers do. The story ends with Peter and MJ kissing on top of a tower. No proposal.

        1. No way I can pull 70 pages for a spoiler. There are 4 other back up stories. Mysterio was not really touched upon and Aunt May wasn’t either. But basically if you remember back Peter and MJ made the deal with Mephisto to save Aunt May’s life sacrificing their marriage. As for Mysterio they have already shown he was working for Kindred in order to manipulate MJ.

  1. I’m SO glad Nick Spencer’s run on this book
Is done. Ugh. Three years to get to this? All that work to just wipe out Sins Past? And nothing was really done with One More Day, which I would have preferred.

As a condition of OMD Harry Osborn is brought back to life, but it turns out Mephisto just brought back a clone? How does that make any sense? I get he’s Mephisto, and not to be trusted, but still…

Also, just a mention. You state in your spoiler that Norman Osborne reveals he’s a clone. When in fact it’s Harry. I know they honestly do look a lot alike.

I looked through this $10 issue, saw how bad it was and just put it right back on the shelf. Good riddance.

    1. Also, Mephisto is a demon. Why would he need to clone, couldn’t he just make them out of some type of hell-based material, instead he has Harry make clones.

  2. Been reading this monthly amongst umpteen other titles. Perhaps would present better if I read all at once but I have no idea what the ever-loving hell is going on after finishing #73. It seems bogged down in comic book gobbeldygook. I know comics are not supposed to be remotely realistic. When a story takes this many leaps, it ends up confusing and the narrative is not clear or satisfying. I jumped on Spider-Man at the One More Day storyline way back when. I didn’t read most of the original material that this Mephisto story references. That was over a decade ago (maybe longer?). All the back and forth with clones and deals with the devil and Mysterio seem like a ham-fisted attempt to put all this back in a neat little box and it doesn’t work for me. Love a lot of Spencer’s work but not loving this.

  3. Wow. This was a disappointment. I really thought this would tie in to Ben taking over. And last I remember, Ben was the new Jackal. Not really sure what to make of it.
