This is a homage in comics that’s fairly untapped… but that’s probably going to change after this variant’s aftermarket success. It sold 25 copies, had a 7-day trend of 88%, and had a high sale of $55 for a raw copy and a FMV of $44.
#12 KITTY PRYDE AND WOLVERINE #1 | MARVEL | 1984
This issue features the first appearance of Ogun, Wolverine’s telepathic mentor. This one might be a bit delayed, however, there are some comic folks out there stating that one of the characters in the HIT MONKEY trailer looks like Ogun. We’ll have to wait and see, but still amazing how it still sold 34 copies, had a 7-day trend of 104%, and had a high sale of $160 for a CGC 9.8.
#13 GUN HONEY #1 ADAM HUGHES TRADE DRESS | TITAN | 2021
There was a lot of pre-launch excitement around this title. This was specifically to the Adam Hughes cover that really captured the market’s attention. While the virgin and virgin foil is the most desired, this trade dress cover still sold 16 copies, had a 7-day trend of 213%, and had a high sale of $19.99 for a raw copy.

Donny Cates brings Thorg front and center once again, helping to move 36 copies of this cover with a 7-day trend of 90% and had a high sale of $10 for a raw copy.

As seen from VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE, Venom has officially taken on the name of LETHAL PROTECTOR. This origination of the moniker sold 25 copies, had a 7-day trend of 102%, and had a high sale of $209 for a CGC 9.8.

After The Vigilante appeared in the HBO PEACEMAKER trailer, the market quickly bought up his first appearance in NEW TEEN TITANS ANNUAL #2 and this first ongoing solo series. It sold 24 copies, had a 7-day trend of 102%, and had a high sale of $198.50 for a CGC 9.8.

During DC Fandom, Jim Lee announced that the Superman mantra, “For Truth, Justice and the American Way” would be changing to “For Truth, Justice and a Better Tomorrow”. The old slogan is featured on this cover, which was enough to move 25 copies sold with a 7-day trend of 93% and had a high sale of $164.50 for a CGC 9.8.

With Marvel’s ETERNALS weeks away, the market continues to buy up copies of this key first-team appearance as excitement for the film builds. it sold 26 copies, had a 7-day trend of 86%, and had a high sale of $2,750 for a CGC 9.8.

This issue features the 1st appearance of Scorpion (Carmilla Black) and Monica Rappaccini (Scientist Supreme). While Monica has already appeared on M.O.D.O.K., her daughter Carmilla might be driving sales for her first appearance at “The Scorpion”. There doesn’t seem to be any rumors surrounding an MCU appearance, but that didn’t stop it from selling 21 copies with a 7-day trend of 116% and a high sale of $400 for a CGC 9.8.

For the return of Throg comes the return of Throg variants. This 1:25 was difficult to find in stores since many shops under-ordered this issue. It sold 20 copies, had a 7-day trend of 109%, and had a high sale of $31.54 for a raw copy, with a FMV of $20.
