Wednesday, the best day of the week, new comic book day.
We open things up to hear from you. A free for all.
The 363rd edition of the open forum!
Love to hear what you’re buying and selling this week.
As always we also want to hear about your weekly pickups.
So, What were your pick ups?
We are going to start the retirement of the open forum. Make sure to sign up for the CHU Forum so you don’t miss out on the conversation. The forum will be integrated into the messages at the bottom of each post, so you can get a head start by signing up. The site and the forum are open to anyone and everyone, of course, unless you have been trolling the site with nasty comments, then we really do not care to hear from you.
Batman 118 and marvel voices. Spider-Man homage is cool cover.
Please do the ASM 78.BEY and also Black Cat infinity one-shot.
Or just spoil them in the comments
Matt, join the forum! Anyway, Black Cat mostly focuses on her mom dying and I didn’t look at AMS this week, sorry.
Cool, thanks a lot!
How does one join the forum btw
Just go to the forum (forum.comicsheatingup.net) and sign up. It’s free and full of great conversation.
Will do, thanks!
New to the site and getting back in to comics after being out for a couple decades. Picked up Batman 118. New villain and leaving Gotham is pretty intriguing. Nita Hawes Nightmare Blog 2 Cover B. Haven’t read it but the cover was fantastic. A couple Crimson Reign just for the spec. Not a Star Wars reader but seemed like a smart buy. Grabbed my first slab ever. Uncanny X-men 266. Gambit my all time favorite so finally decided to grab it before he is introduced in the MCU and prices soar. Keep up the great work. Cheers.
The is Nerdy. Great pickups this week. Love Anita Hawes, but then again I like all the books Rodney Barnes is doing.
On a sad note, artist George Perez reveals on facebook that he has cancer with probably 6-12 months left to live. He is one of the best in drawing detailed crowds and backgrounds in comics.
I saw. We talked about it on the forum. George’s post was so heart wrenching yet so stoic in his response that it’s hard to talk about.
