FOC is the last chance to put in your orders with your comic shops and likely get at a discount for pre-ordering.
Kicking this weeks FOC picks with some Jack Kirby goodiness as it’s a pretty big and more exciting FOC week for me.
Fourth World by Jack Kirby Box Set is a must for any Kirby fan I think.
Love this regular cover for Star Wars #21. Love the Vader helmet incorporated at the top.
Star Wars #21 (Pagulayan Variant)
Star Wars #21 (Christopher Action Figure Variant)
Star Wars #21 (Sprouse Lucasfilm 50th Variant)
Star Wars Crimson Reign #2 (of 5) is another must for me. I like Ochi so a cover appearance makes it all the sweeter.

Star Wars Crimson Reign #2 (of 5) (Crain Enemies Dawn Variant)
Star Wars Crimson Reign #2 (of 5) (Pham Syndicate Variant)
Star Wars Crimson Reign #2 (of 5) (Anindito Connecting Variant)
I’m so tired of Geiger 80-Page Giant #1 (Cover A – Frank) on FOC. They need to make this the final time or I swear I’m going to lose my shit… I also think this was the cause of the paper shortages we’re seeing. 80 pages x 5 covers… Geez Image, is this why this book has been delayed and on FOC this many weeks, you all waiting on the loggers to cut down trees in the Portland area?
Geiger 80-Page Giant #1 (Cover B – Hitch)
Geiger 80-Page Giant #1 (Cover C – Pelletier)
Geiger 80-Page Giant #1 (Cover D – Levens)
Geiger 80-Page Giant #1 (Cover E – Blank Cover)
Death of Doctor Strange #5 (of 5) ends this mini-series and reveals the murderer. I do like this regular cover I must add.
Death of Doctor Strange #5 (of 5) (Mooney Classic Homage Variant)
Death of Doctor Strange #5 (of 5) (Lopez Variant)
Star Wars Halycon Legacy #1 (of 5) is another Star Wars must. Lots of variants for this first issue.

Silver Surfer Rebirth #1 (of 5) (Camuncoli Variant)
Silver Surfer Rebirth #1 (of 5) (Jurgens Variant)

My favorite High Republic story currently continues with Star Wars High Republic Adventures #12.
Although it could be better, I still enjoy the Marvel title Star Wars High Republic #13. Definitely still picking up for all the potential spec with characters being introduced in this series.
Star Wars High Republic #13 (Anindito Variant)
Kingjira One Shot (Cover B – Landini 10 copy) because I like Godzilla. This 10 copy variant is much better than the regular for me.
I like the concept in this one and a pick for those who like a little politics mixed in with their stories. Bylines in Blood #1 (Cover A – Aneke) is coming out from Aftershock Comics.
Silk #1 gets another reboot. I think this is now the 36th volume now for Silk? I might be plus or minus a few volumes.. heh!
Silk #1 (Mok Variant)
Silk #1 (Go Variant)
I’ve been enjoying this new title Human Target by Tom King and Smallwood. Human Target #4 (of 12) continues the mini-series that Tom King prevails at with the more obscure DC characters.
Human Target #4 (of 12) (Cover B – Dave Johnson Variant)
Hoping for a good Garth Ennis read out of Peacemaker Disturbing the Peace #1 (Cover A – Juan Ferreyra).
Peacemaker Disturbing the Peace #1 (Cover B – Garry Brown Variant)
Moon Knight #7 is my bias pick but this series has been great so far. Gotta love the Moon Knight #7 (Rahzzah Variant) for these as well.
In with this next one because Chip Z is on writing duties for Batman the Knight #1 (of 10) (Cover A – Carmine Di Giandomenico).
Batman the Knight #1 (of 10) (Cover B – Greg Capullo & Jonathan Glapion Card Stock Variant)
Star Wars Doctor Aphra #18 is one of my favorite Star Wars characters and reads. It’s a must and the potential is always there. It’s not an if but when in terms of a Disney+ show I think.
Star Wars Doctor Aphra #18 (Tarr Variant)
Star Wars Doctor Aphra #18 (Sprouse Lucasfilm 50th Variant)
The additional prints on FOC worthy of mentions:
Hulk #1 (2nd Ptg Ottley Wraparound Variant)
Black Panther #1 (2nd Ptg Alex Ross Sketch Variant) – Don’t seem to heat up all that often but I still love them, the raw pencil sketch is the true sketch variants.
Venom #1 (2nd Ptg Hitch Variant)
I always enjoy a good sci-fi title so I’ll definitely be checking out Bolero #1 (of 5) (Cover A – Vecchio).
Bolero #1 (of 5) (Cover B – Mahfood)
Bolero #1 (of 5) (Cover C – Llovet)
Whats the Furthest Place From Here #3 (Cover A – Boss) has been a great read so far. Really enjoying this new title.
Whats the Furthest Place From Here #3 (Cover B – Boo)
Whats the Furthest Place From Here #3 (2nd Pressing Deluxe Ed 7 Inch Record)
Joe Hill is like his dad, a great writer. So I always check out his new titles. This round goes to Joe Hill Rain #1 (of 5) (Cover A – Thorogood).
Joe Hill Rain #1 (of 5) (Cover B – Beals)
Joe Hill Rain #1 (of 5) (Cover C – Blank Cover)
Joe Hill Rain #1 (of 5) (Cover D – 25 Copy Wood Variant)
I purposely skipped the floppy copies and have been waiting on Batman the Imposter HC.
I’ve had this show queued up to watch but have yet to find the time. I did watch the first season episode but I’ve been wanting to read the graphic novels for Snow Piercer as well. Seems like it might be a good time to pick up Snowpiercer Vol 1-3 HC Box Set at pre-FOC discount.
Star Wars Crimson Reign #2 and Star Wars #21 looks like FOC in Jan?
Maybe so.. I was going off TFAW’s FOC dates cause Previews was down when I wrote this up.
I have been using the links below for FOC and been really reliable so far.
