CovrPrice.Com Runners-Up for Week of 12/17/21

As promised, the Covrprice.com runners-up list. The second half of the Top 20.

#11 CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS #1 | MARVEL | 2015
Interest in White Fox is growing as Marvel weaves the character into numerous comic series, and it’s clear that both the publisher and fans greatly enjoy her inclusion. Her first appearance in this issue has already helped books like the Yu 1:25 hit over $100 raw. However, this standard cover which also features White Fox, moved 16 copies with a 7-day trend of 165% and had a high sale of $59 for a raw copy and a current FMV of $37.

#12 ANIMAL CASTLE #1 FELIX DELEP VIRGIN (1:10) | ABLAZE | 2021
Animal Castle continues its market heat with multiple covers on this list. This fantastic cover looks even more amazing without the trade dress. It sold 23 copies, had a 7-day trend of 205%, and had a high sale of $49.99 for a raw copy.

#13 ANIMAL CASTLE #1 MISS BANGALORE & KIDS | ABLAZE | 2021
And ditto. This Miss Bangalore & Kids variant sold 22 copies, had a 7-day trend of 155%, and had a high sale of $50.75 for a raw copy.

#14 HAWKEYE #3 | MARVEL | 1983
During the 4th episode of HAWKEYE on Disney+, Wendy Conrad, aka Bombshell, was briefly introduced as a seasoned cop and cos-player. It’s not clear if they plan to expand her role. Either way, her first appearance in this issue immediately began trending with 35 copies sold, a 7-day trend of 119% and had a high sale of $15 for a raw copy.

#15 SLEEPWALKER #1 | MARVEL | 1991
As previously noted, insider Daniel Richtman recently reported that a project centered on Marvel’s Sleepwalker is in development (in some capacity) at Marvel. While this is unconfirmed, it sold 27 copies, had a 7-day trend of 114%, and a high sale of $119.98 for a CGC 9.6. It’s doubtful that this would be a film. However, we previously would have said the same for a T.V. show. We’ll have to wait and see.

#16 DAREDEVIL #11 | MARVEL | 2000
CGC recently updated its case labels for this book to indicate Daredevil #11 as “1st Appearance of Echo (Maya Lopez)”. That has had a significant effect on this mostly ignored issue until recently. Many feel that issue #10 is THE issue to own as it features Echo on the cover and a cameo appearance at the end of the issue in partial costume. Regardless, this full appearance in costume as Echo sold 20 copies this week with a 7-day trend of 109% and a high sale of $275 for a CGC 9.8 (down from $395 last week).

#17 HAWKEYE #1 | MARVEL | 2016
The HAWKEYE Disney+ series is moving all sorts of key issues. This first solo Kate Bishop series has been a core title that collectors have been steadily selling for months. This week, it sold 36 copies, had a 7-day trend of 119%, and had a high sale of $195 for a CGC 9.8

#18 BATMAN #118 JOCK FOIL (1:50) | DC | 2021
Batman #118 had a ton of great covers, specifically the Viktor Bogdanovic covers. However, sometimes you need a cover by Jockā€¦ and a shiny one at that! 38 copies of this 1:50 sold with a 7-day trend of 87% and had a high sale of $57 for a raw copy. However, the current FMV is $32.

#19 INFERNO #3 RUSSELL DAUTERMAN (1:25) | MARVEL | 2021
Russell Dauterman’s covers are a collector’s favorite. After the huge prices that his Excalibur #18 Rogue cover had, it makes sense to see this equally fantastic Emma Frost variant. 30 copies sold, a 7-day trend of 63%, and had a high sale of $50 for a raw copy and a current FMV of $32.

#20 MOON KNIGHT #1 | MARVEL | 1980
This highly anticipated Moon Knight Disney+ series continues to push this first issue to his ongoing series. It sold 26 copies, had a 7-day trend of 79%, and had a high sale of $800 for a CGC 9.8.
