This is ridiculously stupid.
Why? I mean, we are talking about fictional characters in fictional stories who have super powers, there’s gods, monsters, etc… Why is this “ridiculously stupid”? I’m just curious.
I think he meant not the least bit engaging. And I would definitely agree.
Kinda weak? We’ll see where Cates takes this, but so far it hasn’t been nearly as tightly-written as Venom was.

I’m not currently reading this, but wasn’t it shown in a past book that the hammer was sentient? If this plot becomes popular (or used in the MCU) I’m thinking the earlier book may heat up.
So Cates is into Gods. God of Symbiotes. God of Hammers.
What’s next? God of Webbing? God of Billie Clubs?
