As promised, the Covrprice.com runners-up list. The second half of the Top 20.
#11 MARVEL SUPER-HEROES SECRET WARS #8 | MARVEL | 1984
This Jim Shooter gem is a coveted book by many creators. With art by Mike Zeck, this book started hitting a new high of popularity when the NO WAY HOME movie teased a future black suit Spider-Man. A piece of the symbiote, attached to Sony’s Venom, was left behind in the MCU and ignited a hunt for this issue of secret wars. Aside from being the origin of the black symbiote costume, it is often forgotten that this is also the second appearance of Julia Carpenter, a character that is rumored to be in the MADAME WEB movie. The current FMV for this book’s raw NM copy is $229. We tracked 32 copies sold at a 7-day trend of 95%, with a high sale of $840 for a CGC 9.8.
