Every week, tons of new books hit the stands, each with potential. Some live up to that potential. We pick the ones we think have the best shot at heating up. Here are the picks of the week for delivery this Wednesday
Hey Wednesday Warriors, another slow week. Check out what is on tap.

With thousands of souls on the line, Syd and Ellen must fight their way to the bottom or die trying.
Giant Kokju #1 – Image – Over the top kanji book, adult topics, I have read it and it is funny.
Great British Bump Off #1 – Dark Horse – Agatha Christie-style murder mystery set in the world of English competitive baking, Shauna Wickles goal is to delight the judges, charm the nation, and make a few friends along the way. But when a fellow contestant is poisoned, it falls to her to apprehend the culprit while avoiding premature elimination.

One and Done
Star Wars Return Of The Jedi Ewoks – Creepy looking Ewok cover, but then again, they ate people, so never trust an Ewok.
Eight Billion Genies #8 – Final issue of the optioned series.
Small Press Gem
Seasons Have Teeth #1 – Boom Studios – Because of the the option deal, I always pick up Boom #1’s In a drab, colorless world, the seasons bring change… and also destruction.
Small Press Pick of the Week
W0rldTr33 #1 – James Tyrion’s new book. Had a chance to read it early on and it is good, brutal and good. Worth picking up a copy even though there are a ton of store covers for it. Copies of the 1:25 Variant and the 1:50 Variant are pretty easily attainable.
Pick of the Week
Marvels Voices Spider-Verse #1 – High priced Marvel Spider book, which stores may not order a ton of. There is a 1:50 variant blowing up as it is being said that not many stores will order enough copies of a $10 book to receive one The variant is a virgin cover of the John Giang cover. Two new spiders and a new Kraven introduced.

While the remaining covers of the issue do not contain misprints, please do not put them out for sale on April 12, as Image has announced that corrected replacement copies of Covers A & D are scheduled to arrive with product on sale April 26, the issue’s new official on-sale date.
