This is a great spec book. how i know this is that when I passed this book from right to left in front of my fish tank, the fish… swam randomly…whatja think they did? follow something mindlessly? hah! that’s what speculators do
I am very curious to see if any writer, aside from Dan Slott, does anything with Spider-Boy.
If another writer chooses to use the character maybe he will have staying power, but so far he’s just been Slott’s little pet project.
I have a long enough memory to remember Alpha, Slott’s previous attempt at giving Spider-Man a teenage sidekick. Nothing came of that except a short mini-series in which the Superior Spider-Man tried to steal Alpha’s powers away from him.
I don’t believe the character has even had a cameo appearance since.

The character could vanish into irrelevance just as easily as Dan Slott’s previous attempt at giving Spider-Man a teenage sidekick, the all-but-forgotten Alpha.
