VOID RIVALS #3 CONTINUES THE ENERGON UNIVERSE WITH NEW CHARACTERS

Today Skybound, in partnership with toy and game company Hasbro, revealed a first look at Void Rivals #3, the continuation of the new shared universe from the Oblivion Song team of Robert Kirkman (Invincible, The Walking Dead) and Lorenzo De Felici (Kroma), along with colorist Matheus Lopes (Step by Bloody Step) and letterer Rus Wooton (Fire Power).

The space epic continues with the first appearances of new characters when this action-packed issue comes to comic book shops on August 16, 2023.

Fighting for their lives to return to their warring home, Darak and Solila face a new threat– capture! Will the pair deliver their planet-shattering truth, or will they forever be lost to the cold grasp of space? Plus, a face from the Transformers mythology makes their first appearance, setting the stage for what’s to come.

The all-new shared “Energon Universe” began with the surprise first appearance of iconic Transformers character Jetfire in Void Rivals #1. The launch introduced the historic new partnership Hasbro and Skybound, with Transformers and G.I. Joe comics finding a new home with the publisher. Each issue of Void Rivals promises to take readers further into this all-new world, with more familiar faces to appear.

Void Rivals #3 (Diamond Codes listed below | $3.99) will feature a main cover by De Felici, along with a stacked lineup of variant covers by some of the top talent in comics today.
