Kevin Hart’s Production Company HartBeat Has Signed On To Develop RANGER STRANGER As Animated Series

Kevin Hart’s production company HartBeat has signed on to develop Tyler Jensen and Adam Battaglia’s RANGER STRANGER as an adult animated television series. Scout Comics is attached to produce alongside HartBeat.

Characters and concepts first appear in Ranger Stranger #1

Ranger Stranger, one of Scout’s bestselling series, is about a deranged forest ranger left in charge of the fictional wilderness Hackaneck National Park – a vast BobRossian landscape of breathtaking meadows, lakes and vistas for the adventurous camper and hiker to enjoy. Unfortunately, everything – the flowers, the deer, even the park official – wants to murder you. But Ranger Garland Woodburn on the trail! Don’t let the classic Hollywood leading man smile fool you, Woodburn’s passion for nature education and proclivity for horror-homicide struggle to maintain balance in his addled mind. More details on the adaption will be revealed soon.

HartBeat has produced massive film and TV hits, including DAVE, THE MAN FROM TORONTO, NIGHT SCHOOL, REAL HUSBANDS OF HOLLYWOOD, and many more.

Scout Comics & Entertainment Holdings, Inc. launched in October 2015 to immediate critical acclaim.
