She illustrates a beautiful homage to STAR WARS: CLONE WARS #1. This is also the first cover and full appearance of Akemi, Usagi’s daughter. Copies of this book were sold at NYCC for $20. The copies were limited to 75 a day. Each person was only allowed one copy, and the cost of each copy was a modest $10. 13. SPAWN #1
This book experienced a resurgence last week due to the release of Call of Duty Season 6, which released 8 Spawn skins. This type of publicity sent many searching for the first issue in Spawn’s series. Despite this additional boost in popularity, Spawn has remained the single best-selling #1 issue for years. We tracked 36 copies sold at a 7-day trend of 93%, with a high sale of $167 for a CGC 9.8 and a raw NM FMV of $34.
14. MARVEL SUPER-HEROES SECRET WARS VOL.1 #8 – DIRECT
The MCU has all the pieces in place for a symbiote storyline for the web-slinger. Spider-Man: No Way Home ended with a mid-credits scene that left the Venom symbiote in the MCU. Likewise, it is common knowledge that the MCU is headed to the colossal comic event, Secret Wars. With so many puzzles in place, we will likely see our favorite webhead run into a darker symbiote storyline in the near future. We tracked 29 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 93%, with a high sale of $550 for a CGC 9.8 and a raw NM FMV of $146.
15. BATMAN #609
Hush has been a rumored villain for the upcoming The Batman sequel. The early promotions for the first film included an easter egg that alluded to the notorious villain. However, an official confirmation or news has yet to be released to support this. Jeff Sneider was on a podcast called The Hot Mic a few weeks ago. During this interview, he was asked about Hush being a potential villain. His answer was very cryptic and did not give a strong “yes” or “no.” Yet, it still led fans to buy into the spec and hunt down this comic book! We tracked 26 copies sold at a 7-day trend of 93%, with a high sale of $155 for a CGC 9.8 and a raw NM FMV of $42.
16. WOLVERINE #36 – RYAN STEGMAN – REGULAR
It has been a long time since we have seen such a popular amalgam character at Marvel Comics. It looks like they hit the jackpot with this one! Take two of the most terrifying and vicious characters and combine them into the most fearsome creature to date. It is fitting that this book is still so popular during the month of Halloween. Good luck trick-or-treating for this book. Most stores sold out of copies on the day it debuted! We tracked 21 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 86%, with a high sale of $69.99 for a raw copy and a current raw NM FMV of $22.

Miles Morales is in the spotlight! Miles is a superstar with a prominent role to play in the soon-to-be-released Spider-Man 2 PS5 game. He already had a large following, even before his on-screen debut. The Spider-Verse movies have only amplified his popularity to a larger general audience. We tracked 20 copies sold at a 7-day trend of 104%, with a high sale of $1,421 for a CGC 9.8 and a raw NM FMV of $572.
18. VENOM: LETHAL PROTECTOR VOL.1 #1 – REGULAR
Venom is one of the most recognizable Spider-Man villains in his mythos. Aside from the Green Goblin, fans have asked for the villain since Tom Holland’s debut in the MCU. While this is not Venom’s first appearance, it is the first issue in his own solo series. It is also a phenomenal cover that is both cardstock and foil. We tracked 21 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 88%, with a high sale of $110 for a CGC 9.8 and a current raw NM FMV of $34.

It then has a release date of December 1st for the USA. This will be the first Toho Godzilla movie released in theaters in the US since 2016 (Shin Godzilla). 20. THE UNCANNY X-MEN VOL.1 #221
The main villain for the upcoming X-Men ’97 animated series has been revealed to be Mr. Sinister. This is already big news for fans of the villain; however, it also has other implications. A longstanding rumor exists that Javier Bardem was cast to play Mr. Sinister in an undisclosed MCU film. There have been no additional leaks or evidence to support these claims, so people should take them with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, rumors increase book popularity, and this book is an excellent example of that! We tracked 22 copies sold, at a 7-day trend of 103%, with a high sale of $280 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a raw NM FMV of $66.
