Hello CHU!!! It’s been a few weeks, maybe a few Fortnights, since my last article. Took a little hiatus up to the great state of Alaska to look for Comic Books. Alas, very few. But I did see more comics than Grizzlies! Probably a good thing. Thank you for Mr. Anthony, our fearless leader here, for keeping articles going so our fans can be informed of what’s coming up.
Also, there have been a few requests through the forums for this article to come out earlier (Saturday night or early Sunday) as there are many shops that put their orders in before the FOC deadline on Monday. We do want to support our LCS’s, so I will try my best to get these out before Sunday. Fortunately, it’s a lazy Saturday evening, and there are not a lot of exciting books, so able to accommodate that request this week.
COVERS
Looks like Spears is going to be doing some card stock “trading card” variants for DC.
Moon Knight hits #250 with this extra sized issue. Highlighting for you Platt fans.
Art reminds me a David Aja (who also has an outstanding Lady Bullseye cover, BTW…not cheap). She seems to be missing her left leg…but otherwise a pretty cool cover.
FIRST APPEARANCES
Kara and the daughter of Lex Luthor, Lena, have come together to battle a common enemy posing as Midvale’s very own Supergirl! Will Lena’s brains and Kara’s brawn be a match for the super-powered super-genius from Kandor? It’s Supergirl versus Supergirl in a fight for the ages! Plus, the debut of Satan Girl!
Not sure if this Satan Girl is on the cover, or the “poser.”
