Comic Picks of the Week for Delivery 9/17/25

Every week, tons of new books hit the stands, each with potential. Some live up to that potential. We pick the ones we think have the best shot at heating up. Here are the picks of the week for delivery this Wednesday

What is up Wednesday Warriors? Last week had a big surprise flip on the Red Hood Book. This week is a lot quieter. Lets see what is on tap:

New Series
Flow #1 – When blood began to run down Dara Lund’s legs at Nature Camp, she thought she was dying. Homeschooled by a protective dad after her mom’s mysterious death, Dara wasn’t told the facts of life. “It’s the Curse,” her bunkmates said, not revealing it was her period. “But we can lift it…if you do everything we say.” So began their week of torment, making naive Dara do torturous tasks for their amusement. But now, 10 years later, as they embark on their careers, the three tormentors find themselves cursed—so they reunite to track down the likely source: a vengeful Dara. And they’ll pursue her to the bloody end.

Good As Dead #1 – FOR FANS OF STILLWATER_ _AND THAT TEXAS BLOOD? The Emissary Bridge has always connected the citizens of Port Lindon to hope and opportunity. But when one man shockingly sets himself on fire, the bridge now brings something else to the town: CERTAIN DEATH.

Marvel Zombies Red Band #1 – It was the most important space flight in the history of the Marvel Universe – four intrepid heroes took off into the unknown and returned changed, gifted with great abilities…and hungering for human flesh! Travel back to the birth of a Marvel Universe parallel to our own but chock-full of horror since its very inception! Which heroes will rise to become the champions we know and love? Which will be torn limb from limb? And which will devour the scraps? Find out in this blood-soaked series!

No Mans Land #1 – For three months each year, you can walk from the USA to Russia across an ice bridge—a frozen path known as the Ice Curtain. In 1963, when the body of a young woman is discovered on this icy no-man’s land, the already fragile relationship between the superpowers threatens to collapse. With nuclear tensions rising, an FBI agent and a KGB operative must solve the murder—before the ice melts…and war ignites.

Star Wars Boba Fett Black White & Red #1 – BOBA FETT finds himself trapped in a situation he seemingly can’t get out of! The EMPIRE and an extreme REBEL faction are after the same bounty! Fett needs to track down a deadly individual who has played both sides, and – to make things even more impossible – his target is hiding out in a volatile volcanic system!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Casey Jones #1 – Spinning directly from the pages of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Casey Jones’ first solo miniseries in over thirty years! Casey Jones was shot by D.A. Hale, he’s awake, and he has a second chance at life. Instead of taking things slow and smelling the flowers, he’s jumping headfirst into the action. Casey is hitting the streets and doing everything he can to protect the people of New York City, but those closest to him think he’s pushing too hard. April O’Neil and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, especially Casey’s closest friend Raphael, are concerned. Things are only going to get worse as a new strain of mutagen starts changing the shape of New York City, and a brand-new villain threatens everything Casey believes in.

Under The Floorboards #1 – In the bumper-sized debut issue of Under the Floorboards, the horror and science fiction anthology comic, you’ll find four short stories by Simon Bisley, Clint Langley, Dom Reardon, and Kundo Krunch. “The Night Terror”: One man’s quest to rid his streets of crime; “A Fever Most Foul”: A deep fever brings haunting dreams of Jack the Ripper’s London; “I’m Not Picky”: A silent tale of cannibalism in a futuristic city; and “Puff Puff Pass”: Saving yourself can come with dire consequences…
