The Top Ten
1 Detective Comics #1006 – Dan Quintana
Dan Quintana has been all over the aftermarket lately! The work speaks for itself, much like this Detective Comics cover. With the rise in popularity of Quintana’s works, collectors inevitably decide to browse the backlog of previous works. That lands us on this book, his first comic cover, and one that absolutely set the tone. The only variant for this 7-year-old book went from around $4 to a $140 book in about a month! We tracked 13 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 505% with a high sale of $150 for an NM+ copy and a current raw NM FMV of $102.
2 Detective Comics #1007 – Dan Quintana
That takes us to Quinatana’s second cover! What a start to a career, but it took a few years to really take off! Recently, Quintana has been all over the aftermarket and internet thanks to some stellar Absolute Batman covers. Conversation has exploded, and collectors are determined to secure his limited body of work thus far. They end up working backwards all the way to the beginning. These first two covers really set the tone for his work to come, and dang, has the aftermarket taken off running with the limited availability out there. We tracked 20 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 145% with a high sale of $65 for an CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $16.
3 Daredevil #1 – Netease – Marvel Rivals – Blind Bag Edition
Daredevil #1 saw some massive sales, thanks to the blind bags. There were a few covers only available through said blind bags, and this was one of them. Marvel Rivals is bumping, with a ton of crossover collectors who chase applicable comics, like this one. Featuring Daredevil, this was bound to get heavy looks on the aftermarket as he’s a popular character in-game and out. Daredevil: Born Again is currently ongoing, and collectors have been eager for another Daredevil ongoing comic. It’s a good time to be a fan! We tracked 9 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 100% with a high sale of $250 for an NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $126.
4 Spider-Man 2026 San Jose Sharks Custom Edition #Nn – JL Giles & Larry Molinar
Macklin Celebrini of the San Jose Sharks might just be a comic guy! Marvel and the NHL had a colab, with those attending the Sharks VS. Predators game got a Spider-Man variant featuring Macklin Celebrini in a Spidey hockey kit (fire). Some of those hit the aftermarket, as those unable to attend the event wanted a piece of this mashup. We tracked 74 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 100% with a high sale of $90 for an NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $88.
5 Batman #1 – Dan Quintana – 2025 NYCC – Hell Destroyer Comics / More Great Art – Foil (Limited 1000)
Dan Quintana, anyone? Yes, another Dan Quintana cover is on our list, and that speaks to the sheer demand his art is creating. Collectors want a piece, and this variant is another recent book that collectors are digging up. Batman #1 had a TON of variants with a wide range of print runs and price points. This variant from Quintana is quietly outmuscling several as more leave the market and enter PC’s. We tracked 6 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 100% with a high sale of $50 for an NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $45.
6 G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Sssilent Missions – Baroness #1 – Jorge Fornes – Connecting Foil (1:25)
GI Joe has a massive fandom and has been developing numerous tie-in storylines that have been drawing in even more. This is yet another venture, this time featuring Baroness! While GI Joe is super popular, LCS doesn’t typically order a ton of copies. That led to some difficult-to-find variants like this 1:25 from Jorge Fornes, the highest ratio available, and a connecting cover as well. The fanbase loves a good connecting cover! We tracked 16 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 41% with a high sale of $75 for an NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $60.
7 Dead Samurai #6 – Drax Gal
16th-century Japan and zombies, let’s go! This series has been drawing attention thanks to its premise, art style, and covers. This cover from Drax Gal ramped up a few of the factors that draw in collectors, and they made sure to snag a copy on the aftermarket, as not a ton of LCS carry this title, as it’s a smaller publisher. Still, this book sure put a few new customers onto Wake. We tracked 58 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 43% with a high sale of $60 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $14.
8 Invincible #1 – Daniel Warren Johnson – Felix Comic Art – Wraparound Foil (Limited 1500)
Invincible is massively popular lately, with the most recent episode sending fans into the stratosphere. All eyes are on the IP, and when there is a collab with Felix Comic Art, fans are eagerly waiting to see what is delivered. Then, they get an eyeful of this variant from Daniel Warren Johnson, also incredibly hot right now, reprinting the first issue of Invincible, and they just had to have it. As a pre-sale, this book sold out in around one minute, with pre-order copies hitting the aftermarket not long after for a massive premium. This book has everything collectors want lately, which has brought in a lot of attention. But, then again, nearly every variant from Felix has followed a similar trend. We tracked 25 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 41%, with a high sale of $250 for an NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $134.
9 The Walking Dead Deluxe #132 – David Finch & Dave McCaig – Invincible Team Up
Invincible month saw a ton of killer crossover covers featuring characters from the Invincible IP. This one might take the meta cake. It features Conquest and Negan. Jeffrey Dean Morgan played Negan in The Walking Dead and voiced Conquest in Invincible. Reality can be stranger than fiction sometimes, but this cover was a hot commodity coming off the heels of Invincible S4E5, especially due to Morgan’s all-time performance! We tracked 12 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of +56% with a high sale of $23 for an NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $20.
10 Daredevil #1 – Daniel Warren Johnson – Blind Bag Edition – Virgin
The Daredevil #1 blind bags were a massive success, with multiple covers limited to that blind bag seeing a ton of aftermarket traction. This book is another one, with a cover from one of the hottest names in the game, Daniel Warren Johnson. Something about it makes ole Red look crazy huge, but then again, Johnson has that ability to emphasize scale that’s unique to him. We tracked 6 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 38%, with a high sale of $110 for a NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $80.
