Things kick off nicely for Miles as he meets Valentina Ludvenko, an exchange student in his science class.
Miles falls quickly for her striking eyes.
And she seems interested in him as well.
Later, Miles meets up with the Spider-Crew before doing some web swinging.
Which will be needed as a mystery figure makes an appearance in a downtown church.

Later, Ganke and Miles talk, and he asks about Valentina
And Ganke hooks him up.
Later, Miles dad is out for coffee when things go south.
He is thrown from the explosion and is asked if he remembers the assailant.
And we meet the new villain, Grendel.
Miles makes an appearance, Grendel tells him he has nothing to worry about from him.
Again, Grendel asks Jeff if he remembers him. Jeff says no.
Miles interjects again, and Grendel sizes him up.
And as he leaves lets Miles no he has made a new enemy.
And flashing back, Jeff admits to Miles he lied.
He does know him, from when he worked at SHIELD
Martin Moore was his name, a book keeper in a genetics lab
The place was busted, he assumed Martin went to prison, and feels bad about using him
