      1. There’s also ANOTHER 1:100 variant – Jackpot variant by Frazer Irving.

        WTF !!!! 2 1:100 variants for THIS comic……???? I’m baffled.

      2. First shop had just the weak 1:10 Boom! 10th Anniversary covers along with regulars but another shop had the Regular but one left of another, which I think is the Frazer Irving.. which I grabbed cause I didn’t see it on the Midtown site. Hmm.. It’s blue right? We sure this is a 1:100, cause I think I just found one listed on eBay right now and they’re trying to sell it for $189 and a starting bid of $99…

    1. The regular cover is better. Even Midtown is selling that cover for $106… sigh, I would not pay that much for that cover.

        1. I’m surprised no one else picked it up. This was 45 minutes after the store opened and there was at least 10-15 people who got there before I did. The first shop had about 30 copies and only had the 10th Anniv Variant. So yeah, I lucked out.. I’m not sure why the store owner didn’t pick up on it either when placing them out there, maybe he thought it was the cover B but it seemed he only had Cover A, then this lone one.

        2. Yeah, I was trying to find it myself but one URL I found listed the Irving variant as Cover B. Perhaps that’s why every store has just Cover A’s.. Cover B random insert is the Irving inserted into every 100th issue.

          Tony, find out for us…

      1. Also, I THINK Midtown does have this cover………

        The have Covers A & B…..BUT there’s only 1 regular cover…….What’s Cover B ??????

        1. Mycomicshop has the 1b as the 10th anniversary cover and shows the 1:100 as the retailer incentive. I wonder what would happen if you ordered two copies. Would you get 1 of each?

        2. I called midtown 1-800 number. I asked if I ordered two would I get one of each. She said no way to insure that. I asked if they had an image for the B cover. She said no. I asked if she knew what I was taking about. She said no.

      2. Anthony, yeah, I already called Midtown too. They didn’t get any Cover B/Jackpot cover….or….the guy could have just lied to me.

      3. Anthony,

One time I ordered 2 x copies when they listed it as A/B randomly filled. I got two cover A. I can’t recall the issue but I do remember it was split evenly but Midtown just grabs whatever to fulfill those orders when they list them in such ways. So never count on getting both covers when ordering 2 x A/B random filled.

      4. My store had both variants and I picked up the 1:100. I thought I saw 1:100 on their store sticker on the Irving cover too, but I didn’t look that closely. I was eying the Burnham cover all the way.

        1. Quite frankly, I liked the Irving cover the best, besides the regular cover. The Burnham cover didn’t do much for me, seemed a little too cheesy for my tastes.

  1. Ordered the hangman. Even if it doesn’t lift off, the cover is awesome and story sounds great

    1. I read a preview for Hangman..I’m definitely adding it to the pull list ..great story and charecter development, can’t wait to finish the rest.

          1. I know! I’ve been loving the black hood. This was an instant pull for me. I still haven’t made it to my shop and probably won’t until right before closing so I’m probably going to be at the mercy of whatever cover they pulled for me.

          2. I still remember when the black hood came out that I wasn’t going to get it because it was an Archie book. My shop promised me that I wouldn’t be able to tell and that I would be missing out. They were so right.

  2. The Magik cover by JSC looks similar to his Psylocke cover of Uncanny X-Men #510. Anyone else notice that? Maybe he homaged his own cover.

      1. Yeah, it’s different somewhat but similar in a lot of ways. After posting I remembered how one of his Danger Girl/G.I. Joe covers with the Baroness on her knees was very similar to one of the Black Cat covers he did for Amazing Spiderman. So there’s some history there of him repeating his work. It doesn’t matter, I still bought 2 copies of the Magik cover! (I also found the Psylocke cover in a back issue bin for $5 last year. Easily going for $100 plus now.)
