So Long “Slave” Leia

Disney, once again kills childhood dreams by banning The Slave Leia costume from merchandising. But as Tyson B. reports, this could lead to good flips.

  1. It prob has something to do with the outfit being ‘sexist’ all of a sudden. Plus that’s got me wondering now if Funko might be instructed to retire the slave Leia Pop figure??…

    1. There are two versions of the Pop. The original retired version has black lettering and a white background where it says Star Wars. The re-released version has yellow lettering with a black background where it says Star Wars. This is the one heating up.

      1. Arrh yes of course lool I just ebayed it and thought I was looking at the original one, I don’t pay any attention to standard Pop’s, only the exclusives 🙂 .. maybe a good idea then to grab a handful. Just shows then how strict they are being about it if an established shop gets stopped from stocking the AF

    2. Also, I tried very hard with two shops to get a Slave Leia action figure variant. One shop was new and upcoming. The other shop is long existing and does a ton of shop variants with Marvel. Both got quickly shot down on what would have been the hottest action figure variant.

      1. Iv’e been on the fence whether or not to get the Walmart 3-pack, I don’t like large boxes due to space issues lol, but maybe this might be the reason to get one now

        1. I hit up Walgreens last night and got the First Order Snow Trooper Exclusive and the Regular Snow Trooper exclusive and hit up hot topic for the Comicazi exclusive US agent anti venom and hatless needle hands Freddy Kruger.

    3. Ohh yes, love the look of the FO Stormtrooper with the blaster, iv’e got that one on order along with the unhooded Kylo, I love that Freddy one, can’t remember which film that was from but I remember the syringe scene

  2. Yeah, I heard about this a few days ago and all I could do was roll my eyes and shake my head. More PC BS from an out of control PC society.

  3. Wow! Talk about power. I think Lucas films made a huge mistake on selling there franchise to Disney. They should of sold it to someone else and we wouldn’t have seen this BS happening. But business is business.

      1. Hehe.. Lucas sold, which means, he no longer cares while he swims in his Scrooge McDuck 20 story bank vault filled to the top.. 😉
