The comic book movie movie adaptation news continue to roll out. With New York Comic Con starting, we may hear some more of these.
Fox has acquired the rights to ‘Who is Jake Ellis?’ David Yates, the director of ‘Harry Potter’, is set to direct the movie based on Nathon Edmonson’s Image Comic.
‘Who is Jake Ellis?’ Came out well before Image was doing large print runs on all of their first issues. This book sold out when it came out and went to a second printing. The book isn’t exactly easy to find, but with news of the movie copies could dry up.
Nathan Edmonson’s The Activity was optioned earlier in the year and prices jumped up on the book for a while.
A quick check of recent eBay auctions showed that copies before the announcement were going unsold.
An important note on this book is some sellers on eBay have the second print listed as first prints. The first print had a red cover and the second print had a blue cover. Pretty easy to tell apart.
