What are your pick ups?
What about back issue raids?
What was sold out at your store?

  1. Omega Men 3 is on fire !! Time to unload some ! I see sales in 40-50.00 range…

    1. 6years ago I looked up Lobo’s 1st appearance, I picked up this book it was $5 NM I was shocked then that no one cares about Lobos 1st. Glad to see this book is getting some recognition.

    1. Also just bought on eBay a min ago
      Strange adventures #187 1st Enchantress from suicide squad. Been pricing this book for 6 months now finally got one decent condition for the right price.

      1. yeah that one jumped like crazy last year. Now is the time to get that issue if anyone is looking for it. The calm before the storm with the movie on the horizon.

    2. I’m really curious to see what they do with the Tres Punto Uno re-release, in poorly-translated-English. When I first saw the title was “Masacre”, I was thinking Marvel had an obvious typo… but it was actually exactly what they were going for, lol.
      And yes, I think the recent Deadpool#1 is the 1st appearance of the Mercs for Money; if people actually continue to care about those alternate likenesses of the characters. The real question is whether it impacts the 1st appearance of their original incarnations; many of which are currently cheap books.
      How much did you pay for Special Marvel Edition#15? I’ve never seen that one available at a decent price, even before the sudden craze.

      1. I think Terror has some real legs. I picked up a couple copies of St. George #1 from my LCS quarter bin (Terror’s first appearance). I think his replacement of body parts and adaptation of those body parts’ memories is a power that could find ground in our modern comics milieu and ennui (like those words!!!???!)

      2. Special marvel edition #15 Won in auction $27 + $6 shipping would say it’s about a 7.0. First semi cheap one I’ve seen recently.

  3. The only new release I’m looking for tomorrow is TMNT #56, I will probably be picking up some stuff I missed from the previous weeks. Already pre-ordered . ……..

  6. No pulls for me this week. I’m letting them collect dust while I save my funds for a tiny con in SLC this weekend (FanXperience 2016). If Salt Lake Comic Con is a giant con aimed at spending $100 on C-list celebrities, then FanX is a tiny con aimed at spending $200 on D-list celebrities.
    Anyway, I’ll be grabbing variants to flip today for con money. Looking to get
    (1) Fabian Nicieza’s autograph on my minty copy of Deadpool Circle Chase 1;
    (2) Bob McLeod’s autograph on Star Wars 17 (1977);
    (3) Kate Leth’s autograph on the George Perez Hellcat #1;
    (4) Ben Templesmith’s on his Young Terrorist #1 variant (won it right here on CHU!);
    (5) and Jim Zub’s on Street Fighter Unlimited 1 Secret Wars #8 homage cover.

  7. I was also able to grab another Harley Quinn #26 1:25 variant for $25. These books are going for $30-$60 on ebay. And with all the Harley fans out there, this book is sure to go up.

  8. Ive been loving these normal sized pulls lately! Saving some cash is very helpful this week. I jsut had one of my dogs spayed…..$600 later….
    anywhooo, on to my grabs:
    Batman – regular and poly, I think the spoilers from Tony’s post will last a bit because you know, futures end…..
    Birthright
    Grayson – only poly
    Justice League 3001 – didnt think id enjoy the all female team, but i do!
    Outcast
    Star Wars
    Wonder Woman – poly only
    Finally found my back issues of midnighter my shop missed as well!

  9. My pull list is really down the last couple of weeks! After a few months of what seemed to be $20-30 weeks i’m getting a much needed break.
    Sons of the Devil #6
    Ringside #5
    That’s it! That’s all! The only problem with these light weeks? I don’t have enough to read…..Can’t seem to win :).

  10. A fun week picking a few things here and there.
    1. Batman #50 x2
    2. Hyperion #1 Luppachino and Black Panther Variants
    3. Guardians of Knowhere #1 Gwenom
    4. Monstress #1 2nd Print x2 (off the shelf)

    6. Avengers Assemble #10 Dell’Otto variant
    7. X-men AXIS 1:100 Dell’Otto variant
    That’s about it!
