May 2016 Comic Con Box Unboxing "War Zone"

After taking a break from doing an unboxing video last month (started recording while unboxing and didn’t notice that the storage was full until I went to edit it), Joe and I are back to unbox the latest Comic Con Box from Wizard. Check it out

    1. Having tried a variety, this one seems to put in some good stuff, and Geek Fuel is pretty solid in general too. Loot Crate just let me down constantly and I don’t get how they are so popular. All of the Nerdblock ones like Comicblock, Horrorblock and etc. are so-so also.

      1. lootcrate is hit or miss for sure.
        Nerdblock is fairly decent though I had a big issue with 3 of their horror blocks in a row. THe latest one was much better after I sent in multiple complaints (I’m sure many did).
        But those are much cheaper than comic con box so value wise I don’t think there is much if any difference.

        Last month was a Pinhead Funko Pop! , a blu ray , a 28 days later t-shirt, cthulu patch , the always present Rue Morgue magazine and for some reason because they have been on a kitchen kick for 3+ months, a skull and gravestone salt and pepper shaker set
        The two previous months were pretty lame to be honest though this month’s was good imo. Prints toys books movies and such happen as well.

        1. I have the Pinhead pop already. I do love 28 Days later though so the shirt could be sweet. The salt and pepper shakers sound cool though.

    2. I disagree. Comic con box started off strong but dropped off pretty significantly in my opinion. I started with a 6 month sub and did not renew.

      1. I’ll give you that Horrorblock sometimes is solid, and I’ve found the Arcadeblock to be impressive, but ANY of the, “Classic,” Nerdblocks I’ve seen I have found to be woefully underwhelming. I guess we all have our preferences.

        My only experiences are horror and sci fi blocks. They recently upgraded the comic block to give out toys and stuff like the other boxes and not just comics but you can’t switch to that from a previous subscription (one of my biggest pet peeves since it should be super easy to do so).
