So I received an email asking the question, What is this book? It is a copy of Henchgirl #1 Signed by Kristen Gudsnuk with a Heroes Your Mom Threw Away logo on the lower right. I hadn’t seen it before, but assumed it may be a second printing store variant. I was wrong.
We Have mentioned before the low print run, self-published, version of Henchgirl #1 that predated the issue out from Scout Comics with a completely different cover. Print Run is estimated at below 600 (if I remember correctly.)
So this was one I hadn’t seen before. I shot it over to Mel who checked with Kristen, herself, and she explained that it was essentially an Ashcan like edition that was put out before Scout had published the first issue. This Henchgirl #1 Preview Copy was used at conventions to help promote the series.
There is now one example up of the Henchgirl #1 Preview Copy on eBay for grabs. It is signed and personalized, but if you like rare comics, and doubly so if your name is Gary, this rare Preview Copy is worth a look.

There is also the self published version that pre-dates this book.
I actually mention the self published version in the post.
Sorry about that. I see it now.
No worries man I miss a lot of stuff and always appreciate the community helping edit.
Uncertain about print run. But if Diamond distributed promotional copies, could there be 3000 printed for stores? Free comics is one of the benefits from being a comic store owner.
I doubt 3k were printed on the promo book if less than 3k were printed of the regular cover
