In what may sound like a bad Jerry Seinfeld set up, what is the deal with the Youngblood poster that has appeared in several episodes of Robert Kirkman’s Outcast?
Outcast, the TV show done by Robert Kirkman based off the comic of the same name, has flashed a Youngblood poster for the comic several times on screen and most prominently in the last episode. The poster is an early one as it still has the Malibu logo on it, Malibu helped publish the early Image comics, and would later be bought out by Marvel. Youngblood was an early Image series done by Rob Liefeld after he lefted Marvel and helped form Image. Just odd to see Youngblood on screen. Youngblood #1 is not racking up the big dollars, as it can be picked up for as cheap as 19 cents on Amazon, but copies of the different series have been selling on eBayaround the time the episodes air.
Thanks to Jeremy A. for pointing out the fun little Easter Egg, as well as the screen grabs.

Youngblood #1 goes for 19 cents cause that’s what it’s worth and the billion other copies you can find out there. 😉

Liefeld posted about it on Instagram the other day. Mentioned something about the 25th anniversary.
Oh snap! ! Didn’t know posting the link would do that! That’s awesome!
now I want one of those old school posters. and for the heck of it maybe I will start putting younglblood #1 on my wall display at conventions
After my recent move I now have Cinemax, can’t wait to check out this show.
I’ve got that poster, and now I’ve got another reason to sell it.
Megaton Explosion would be the book to get. IF anything were to happen
