Comics Picks of the Week 11/20/13

Each week tons of new books hit the stands. With them comes the possibility that some will heat up and sell for more on the secondary market. Here are our picks of the week for 10/20/13.

1. Voice in the Dark #1– Hands down our pick of the week. LArime Taylor’s book has been anticipated since the Kickstarter campaign ended. Picked up as an ongoing series by an imprint that does not do ongoings. This book is sold out at the distributor level and has a lot of things going for it.

2. Sex Criminals #3– This book continues to sell out and is a great read. Very different, good buzz behind it.

3. Harley Quinn #0 – This is going to be DC’s biggest book since the 3D covers. People love Harley and there was some controversy on the book early on with Harley trying to kill herself, naked, in a bath tub.

4. Afterlife with Archie #2- First issue sold out, expect the same with #2 except there will be less copies ordered. Some online retailers already have it as sold out. Bloody cover will be the one to get.
