Megacon Tampa Bay is at the end of the month (Sept 29-Oct 1) and the exclusives just went live on the Fan Expo Store. They have given us the exclusive on their exclusives.

Uhmm , no and no .
This tossing around of the word “exclusive” really burns me with these not so fine folks at Fan Expo. Without going to Merriam – Webster, the term “Exclusive” in the comic industry has historically meant that one can only get that item by attending the convention. This FanExpo nonsense that started at Boston Comicon and now at other Fan Expo based Conventions is NOT an exclusive if anyone can order it from the Fan Expo website. I find it misleading and disingenuous to call these Fan Expo “Exclusives” as exclusives. If you can only get it from attending Tampa Megacon, then it is exclusive to Tampa Megacon.
I see what you are saying, they are exclusive to the show in the same way store exclusives are sold online by the shops.
I’m just looking for consistency. A far more appropriate term would be Fan Expo exclusive; not Tampa megacon exclusive. That would be consistent, reasonable, non-misleading
