DC has updated their Diamond listing for Flash #38 B from artist Howard Porter and replaced the cover with a beautiful Francesco Mattina cover. You can check out this Killer B below.
Not an exclusive, not a store variant, but an honest-to-goodness Mattina B cover.
Retailers like TFAW, Midtown, and Mycomicshop have not updated their listings yet, from the Porter cover to the Mattina cover, but they will before the 1/10/18 shipping date.
The Flash #38 B can be pre-ordered now.

That cover is fantastic…
Have to agree—-wow!
So glad DC has the “B” variants for cover price !
Even when they have more than two covers, seems most of the time their covers are all cover price and not ratio’d.
Did you see Captain Cold kiss a guy 3 times on Legends? Is that canon in DC?
No it’s not, only in the arrowverse
WAY better than that awful Greg Horn Phoenix cover, and a fraction of the price.
So true, wonder why we can’t comment on that article…lol
Not sure, but maybe it was very smart of Tony not to allow comments. If Greg Horn was watching that release and reviewing the comments, I’m betting he wouldn’t be too pleased with what people have to say about his work with this cover. I for one completely agree with your assessment of value though…
Feel free to comment on the Horn cover over here. You are on to something about the comments and why they were not allowed on the other post.
I know why.. Tony doesn’t have to explain it to me either on why comments are closed. 😉
That cover is great…the Horn cover which we can’t comment on is somewhere between godawful and scary.
Horn’s Jean Grey looks like a picture you would see on the front of a box that contained a sex doll (probably is). Her expression is so lifeless. God awful.
It’s not as bad as ComicXposure’s customer service though.. 😉
