Thanks to Alex S. for the write up.
With the media frenzy that is about to (is) explode on Life With Archie #36, coupled with high demand for certain artist variants, it looks like getting a hold of a Life With Archie #36 Set might not be such a bad play.
Shops have reported that they are already sold out (on pre-order) of the Fiona Staples variant.
It’s never easy to determine which variant will get the most for your money so grabbing them in a set takes the guess work out of the equation.

remember when Archie got married? this is going to be a very quick flip and price drop
The frenzy has started. All media news outlets have covered this book and I have done all I can to help publicize it everywhere I go. I am already selling issues for up to $15.00 each and its picking up quickly. Diamond is sold out of ALL covers !
Life with Archie #36 is in demand!?
Imagine that….
I know some one around here called it
I pre-ordered all the copies I wanted after Larry’s nice reminder.. 😉
I’ll probably pick one up. I got the one a while back with the disabled girl and it went nowhere.
That’s one to keep over time, not for quick flip.
SECURED ALL 5 covers ..now for my 1st Flip ..wish me luck guys
Nice. Good slick brother. Start the eBay listing early. When you get the books upload the pictures and you are all set to go. I do not like to start an auction before I have the books in hand beside a nm new book could arrive in vf or less.
Yeah, same here. I never list books I don’t have in hand yet. These Archies particularly don’t come in the best of shape at times from what I’ve seen. They’re pretty much treated like newspaper periodicals where they seem like they were bounded tightly with strings to hold the bundles together, causing a bunch of spine creases and bends.
That should have read good luck brother and not good slick.
Yeah I rarely list an item before i have it in hand. If its coming from Midtown, Hastings, or TFAW there is always a good chance its shows up VF. There is one shop I always get NM copies from and that is comixzone.com, but that could be because they are about two hours away from me in Syracuse and even using media my orders come overnight so they are not in the mail system long. Also they use good comic mailers, not like those thin mailers the other places use.
thanks for the tips..another question i have..i was thinking of creating a lot of Manifest Destiny 1-8 ..New Mutants 87..Hulk 271..Enormous 1 shot with Covers A @ B ..Starting bid 100..or is that to many different style comics or would that dont go together?
I dislike the smaller mixed lots. The only time this makes sense is if it’s a couple of #1 similar style of comic or from same publisher. Like if you bundled a Manifest Destiny #1, Rat Queens #1 and Outcast #1 some might go for it but mixing too much isn’t gonna get you much.
Like what you pointed out before, you’ll get the attention of those seeking out Manifest Destiny but might not want to pay extra for a New Mutants or Hulk, so they’ll pass. I wouldn’t want to pay a premium on a few comics I might not particularly be hunting for at the time.
For example I might be interested in the manifest Destiny’s but not the other books so I would bid just on the value of those books.
Is say too many different types of books
or wold that go together ***
thank you guys for the advice ..i have more questions..a lot more if thats ok?
of topic* New Female Th0r The press release also says this is “a brand new female hero,” seemingly putting to rest speculation that the newly-revealed sister of Thor, Angela, would take up the hammer.

unless I can pick this up at the LCS tomorrow, I’m going to pass. Seems like a small window to flip.
I only bought a handful myself, with issue #37 telling the story a year after his death in #36, the potential of flipping might be extended by a month or two for those jumping on the wagon late and missing out on #36.
This book defines the quick flip.
I want to be out of copies in two weeks.
Buy. Sell. Move on…
You’ll probably be out of copies by tomorrow afternoon. 😉
Doubtful.
Being of “average” intelligence, realizing this is a two week event, I have ordered accordingly.
My goal is to triple my money & be out in two weeks.
Amazon sales are $12-$16
Did you get your Staples cover? A local shop had them all here in Austin but said there was a printing error with the Staples variant, so they didn’t get them. I ordered a few from TFAW so I’m wondering if this is true or not with others.
Got two of them. They were limited to two per person.
Hmm.. maybe the guy who was mentioning it was just assuming. Good to know so I should get mine from TFAW then once they ship, I already got the confirmation it’s being prepared to ship, just need the tracking number from them now.
Fiona Staples variant with printing error might be the most valuable because of small quantity available. Regular modern death comics have limited price appreciation under $25.. For example, Superman #75.
What is the printing error on the book. I have heard of it referred to but not sure what the actual error is.
