  1. looking at this years Overstreet price guide……edge of spider verse #2….1st appearance of spider Gwen…is $10.
and its a 6 year old book. what a joke. wish wizard magazine price guide was still around. time to fold this so called bible of comic book grading…..just do golden and silver ages….if that

      1. sadly comicspriceguide isn’t any better, they are slow in updating as well. key collector is ok although many people can’t stand that app. thank you for your input Anthony.

        1. In our new world of instant updates, unless you’re looking at auctions end in real time, all the data is outdated by the time it’s published or even updated on a website.. as soon as one is updated, another is ending at a new price. πŸ˜‰

        2. I’m new to comic collecting and I see a lot of hate for the Key Collector App…but I wonder why? I think it’s pretty convenient to have this app on hand in the LCS when browsing. Admittedly it’s speculation hasn’t always been on point – but let’s be real, who has always been right? (apart from Anthony of course πŸ™‚

          1. Ha. I wish I was always right. I say it all the time. Use all the tools in your tool belt. Don’t worry if people hate on an app, if you can use info to make money than do it. I use it from time to time. I use a bunch of sites and resources.

            1. What would suggest are the best sites to use? I just started out and mainly read this site. I think all of you are super helpful!

    1. This is how I get awesome deals (steals maybe is the better word!) from my LCS. They use Overstreet to price comics and don’t keep up with eBay unless is it’s a ratio variant or someone tells them something is hot.

  2. Pick ups for the week:
    Blade Runner #10 (cover A)
    Gideon Falls #25
    Autumnal #1 (cover C)
    Suicide Squad #9 (cover A)
    Maestro #2 (Perez variant)

    Spec pick ups this week:
    X-men #12 (2 copies@cover)
    Cyberpunk 2077 #1 (2 copies@cover)
    X-men #2 Martin 1:25 variant X 3 ($5, $14, and $16) hoping folks really like High Summoner

    PC pick up:
Strange Academy #2 1:25 Silva variant

    Good hunting everyone!

  3. Ordered a $10 copy of Verotik Illustrated 2 with the Dave Stevens cover. Looking at the recently sold eBay listings, it looks like the seller had 8 total copies and sold them all.

  4. My pick-ups this week included…

    – Aquaman A
    – Batgirl A
    – Dark Nights Death Metal Speed Metal A and Momoko 1:25 variant ($22)
    – Flash A

    – Spidey Noir A
    – Spider-Man 1:25 variant ($11)
    – Star Wars Bounty Hunters #5 A x2, plus a 2nd print of #2
    – Thor #6 (2nd print) x5

    – Canto ll The Hollow Men
    – Spawn #309 (2nd print) x3
    – An Unkindness of Ravens Frison variant ($10) and Thank You variant ($12)
    – Autumnal A, B & C
    – We Only Find Them When They’re Dead #1 (2nd print) x2…this book was a ghost.
    – Wynd Thank You variant ($7)

I also found two more X-Men #2 1st prints, plus a 2nd print. I was looking for more 2nd prints but couldn’t find any. The 2nd prints seem to be heating up even though they are just a re-colored version of the 1st print. I also got 4 more X-Men #12’s.

I narrowly missed out on a Thor #6 (2nd print) B&W 1:50 variant for $50. I waited too long to request it. But I am still pleased with this week’s haul.
