This Eisner nominated series around the extinction of humanity except for 5000 children is a fan-favorite that’s been hot since it was first released. The heat around the pricey NYCC variants spotlighted this standard first issue and sold 22 copies with a 7-day trend of 148% and had a high sale of $200 for a CGC 9.8.

#12 SUPERMAN SON OF KAL-EL #2 SAMI BASRI SUICIDE SQUAD | DC | 2021
The news around Jon Kent’s sexuality moved ALL covers of this first appearance of Jay Nakamura. It sold 20 copies, had a 7-day trend of 183%, and had a high sale of $10 for a raw copy.

#13 VENOM LETHAL PROTECTOR #1 | MARVEL | 1993
If you watched Venom, then you know that Venom refers to himself as “Lethal Protector” throughout the film. This caused the direct edition of this first issue, from which the reference stems from, to land in our top 10 last week… moving down to the runner-up list this week with 50 copies sold, had a 7-day trend of 103%, and had a high sale of $200 for a CGC 9.8.

#14 SUPERMAN SON OF KAL-EL #1 STEPHEN BYRNE| DC | 2021
Like the standard cover, collectors raced online to get this first issue as the series will gain significantly more readers due to the high media attention. It sold 21 copies, had a 7-day trend of 191%, and had a high sale of $100 for a CGC 9.8.

#15 MOON KNIGHT #3 | MARVEL | 2021
As mentioned in previous weeks, this issue features the first appearance of Hunter’s Moon. It’s unknown where or how Marvel will take this character, but either way, they set him up to play a close role to Marc Spector. It holds a spot on this week’s list with 46 copies sold, a 7-day trend of 87%, and had a high sale of $16.30 for a raw copy.

#16 AVENGERS #350 | MARVEL | 1992
This issue features the first appearance of Dane Whitman and Sersi’s romance, as hinted upon in THE ETERNALS trailer. It sold 20 copies, had a 7-day trend of 195%, and had a high sale of $20 for a raw copy.

#17 SPAWN #1 | IMAGE | 1992
Spawn, Covrprice’s #1 best-selling title, holds a place on this week’s list with 31 copies sold, a 7-day trend of 121%, and had a high sale of $220 for a CGC 9.8.

#18 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #361 | MARVEL | 1992
VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE has come and is not quite gone. Yet, Carnage’s first appearance is still relevant. This week, it sold 27 copies, had a 7-day trend of 127%, and had a high sale of $770 for a CGC 9.8 (which is down from the $1K sales it had the last several weeks).

#19 AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #76 | MARVEL | 2021
As Peter Parker fights for his life in a hospital bed due to being severely poisoned in the previous issue, he gives his blessing for Ben Reily to take the mantle of SPIDER-MAN. While it’s unknown how long this status quo will last, it does seem like Ben will have the title for a while to come. Collectors jumped into this issue to see where the story goes. It sold 40 copies, had a 7-day trend of 87%, and had a high sale of $11 for a raw copy.

#20 FANTASTIC FOUR #67 | MARVEL | 1967
As noted, before he was called Warlock he only went by “Him”. This issue features the first cameo appearance of Him. It sold 22 copies, had a 7-day trend of 122%, and had a high sale of $1,099 for a CGC 8.0.
