DC Comics Vixen to get Animated Series on CW Seed

The CW is all over DC properties. From Green Arrow in Arrow to Flash in (well) Flash, not to mention iZombie, the CW has cornered the market in DC comics tv shows. Here is another one they announced.
The CW Seed, a new digital-only network featuring high-quality original series in smaller sizes, will put out a series based on the character Vixen.
Vixen is actually a really interesting story, both as a character and as a publishing history. She was originally going to be the first African American comic book character to have her own series. The series got nixed before it was published and the issue showed up in DC’s Canceled Comics Cavalcade (books barely published to only retain the rights to the characters and trade marks). Her first real appearance to see print was in Action Comics #521. This book has seen some heat due to the involvement of Vixen in the Suicide Squad movie. Still, it is one to look out for. Definitely scour the back issue bins of your local comic shops for it.
The series will also feature the other two CW DC characters, Flash and Green Arrow.
