The Paladin #1 Signed comic give-away

I love very small press books, the problem is the story and art are often lacking. Here is one that seems to have it both. Our friends at ComicXposure sent over a couple of signed preview copies of the first issue of The Paladin to check out. I am giving away a free signed copy of The Paladin #1. Enter your name below and I will pull one name at random to give a signed copy of the book to. The Paladin can be ordered at ComicXposure and Forbidden Planet.
I recently got copies of The Paladin by Chris Antzoulis and Fabio Valle. The book is about a normal guy named Gio, who lives in a world of people with powers. His sister, Lyra, is a super-powered hero who goes by the code name Gemini. The first issue covers Gio’s daily life and gives some history of his normal life growing up in a superpowered world. However, things may not be so normal for Gio.

I have been talking with the writer Chris Antzoulis about The Paladin. Here is what he had to say:

The Paladin introduces us to Gio and Lyra Destro, a brother and sister who live in a redesigned world that survived devastating nuclear war.
In issue #1, explore this new world through the eyes of Gio as he struggles to find his place within it, and as Lyra encounters a new group of terrorists.

Will The Paladin be a mini-series or an ongoing?:

Well, honestly I’m prepared to do with this series whatever needs to be done. I’d love to have it be an ongoing. I’ve written 6, but recently changed some so I’m rewriting 2-6.

Issue #1 is in stores already. When can you in expect to see the next issues?:

We are looking for a colorist on issue 2, so it will be delayed…but once that’s done we can put them out regularly. I have enough outlined material to do something like 70 issues if interest allows for it to ever go that long.

Here are the cover for the first issue and a look at Gemini:
