Funko has collaborated with Marvel to build a first-of-its-kind subscription box service — Marvel Collector Corps — featuring 100% exclusive collectibles, apparel and accessories from some of the biggest events in the Marvel movie and comic book universe. The debut box ships in April and will feature items from Marvelโ€™s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ including an exclusive 6โ€ Iron Man Hulkbuster Pop! vinyl collectible only available through Marvel Collector Corps. The box contents also include a T-shirt featuring one of four exclusive designs, an additional stylized vinyl collectible and two premium accessories. The box represents over $50 of value.

Boxes will ship every two months and Marvelโ€™s ‘Ant-Man’ will be featured in the June box. The service includes two levels — the basic Collector level and the Founder level. Customers who sign up for the Founders program, which includes a six-box subscription, will receive an exclusive Founder Statue on the 12-month anniversary of their first box shipment. As long as their membership does not lapse, Founders will continue to receive a new exclusive figure every year on their anniversary.
The Marvel Collector Corps service from Funko is available for $25 per box, and fans can signup now at www.collectorcorps.com.

  1. Listen up DC Comics…
Hopefully, Skybound continues to also look into these.
Loot Crate itself could soon be a thing of the past.

      1. Really was talking about it being an end for me with Loot Crate, not really referring to the service itself. ?

      2. No prob. I wasn’t very clear. I forget people also can’t hear the thoughts in my head!?

  2. Glad you spotlighted this! This is like Loot crate on steroids lol. I think this may attract more of the hardcore fans whereas Lootcrate may attract more of the casual fans

  3. I definitely want to try it. Almost booked the founders option, but I can’t tell if the image of the lame gold cap America figure is the actual founders figure u will receive or not. Definitely need something better than that to entice me to subscribe for a year

  4. I wonder how limited these are going to be, wish there were a little more info. The possibility of getting rare Marvel junk is tempting, the Founder option had me like, “maybe they’ll send me exclusive super duper, glowing, rare, ultimate, never seen before items!” But if it’s just that statue…I don’t know. I’m a wait a day or so…

    1. The CEO of Funko has stated that the Founders statue is…”epic”
That gold lump does not look epic, do you think that maybe there will be something different?

    2. “I wonder how limited these are going to be, wish there were a little more info.”
Probably a 1:1 ratio of orders. 1,000 orders, 1,000 made. Unless they’re ordering in bulk and the items put in the crates are later available individually. If I’d put myself in the businesses shoes and mind, I’d hate to have surplus stock of something that doesn’t end up selling so the best approach is to fulfill the orders as close as possible. Who wants a warehouse full of merchandise no one wants to buy possibly? I know I wouldn’t. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. No ๐Ÿ™ they’ll accept a billing addresses from worldwide but not shipping addresses. That makes me sad ๐Ÿ™

      1. Supposedly there’s websites/companys that can forward you mail, though you’ll effectively be paying two shipping charges! Though best bet is to wait, they say international shipping is coming…

  5. I’m on the fence with joining the founders program. I know Funko is known for vinyl but if by chance the yearly statue was metal or something of more substance I wouldn’t mind that. It’s like FOOM from back in the day. People that kept that stuff are selling them for a nice amount even considering the club being non-exclusive and with no member amount limitation at the time. Side note: I also just found out that the dinosaur you see on Chrome when you have no network is actually a game you can play if you hit spacebar.

  6. I emailed them and they replied confirming the gold cap America is just representative and the final figure has yet to be determined. Definitely a gamble since u won’t know for a year if it’s awesome or not.
